Avoid using this company at all costs!!!!!!!

I have recently had a gas cylinder replaced on my property and the driver has caused serious damage to my property at multiple locations (refer to photos on google reviews).

I have been now going back and forth with Samantha who is the Agas supervisor for several weeks demanding the damage to be repaired.

They first offered me 3 free gas refills which I declined as I wanted the damage repaired.

They then agreed to organise a handyman to come to the house to assess the damage and then pay for the repairs. The damage was quoted and they have declined to fix the damages (decking and concrete)!

The matter was escalated to the GM of the area who is refusing to pay to fix my deck even though this was verbally agreed to on the phone when I declined the free gas cylinders.

He claims that it’s too much money and will not pay! They then offered me $1000 refund which doesn’t even come close to the quote they received .. another slap in the face. The GM has not attempted to make any contact with me and Samantha has refused to give me any contact details.

This matter is ongoing however I believe users deserve to know how quickly this company will refuse to fix any damages done to your property even after admitting fault!

This matter will be taken further.

“Agas National - All about customer service” that is an absolute disgrace if you believe you deserve to put this in your branding.

Have not had a great recent experience with Agas after being long term 'set and forget' customers. We ran out of gas, so booked in - no same day delivery to our area within Moreton Shire, even though that's what they advertise, so expected delivery the following Thursday. We could make do without gas for the week, using the camping stove instead. Thursday came and went with no delivery, so contacted Agas the following day to be told that invoice must be paid prior to booking in the delivery, even though the invoice states 'COD'. Paid invoice then and waited a further week for delivery. Well, Thursday came and no delivery. I phoned that afternoon to be told by Sam, 'oppps, invoice has been paid, but accounts didn't advise delivery.' Logistics manager stated that they could deliver the next day, if I paid a further $135 for 2 bottles, otherwise, just have to wait until the next weeks delivery run. I cancelled my order as I found a company which actually delivered on the weekend and don't charge a yearly rental fee, and was informed by Sam that refund could take 3-5 days to show in my account. That was 23 June and I still have not received my refund as of today 17 July. Sam has been apologetic but that hasn't solved them withholding my refund for gas they failed to deliver. Apparently at my insistence, Sam has now spoken to the National Manager to access their bank account and confirm that money has gone from their bank account and then gone ??? - This is because accounts didn't process the refund on 23/06 or 24/06 but due to my contact, provided a 'receipt' as refund approved 8/07 - and still no actual dollars into my account. There are better deals out there people, with companies who don't lie to you.

I wouldn’t, I didn’t even sign and made a payment by mistake , that was two weeks ago and I am still waiting for my refund, I have call them 4 times and they keep saying there was a error and couldn’t refund the money but now it should go through .. that was 3 days ago and I am still waiting for my money, thru are very quick to take your money but won’t give it back straight away. I will never do business with this company I hope I get my money early this week they are unprofessional

I have only had service for Gas Regulator replacement
and a service on Transfer Valve, but was very happy with the treatment and have now signed up to have Cylinders Delivered. A better price than my previous company.
I am impressed with the way I have been treated, both by Service Gas Fitters and A-Gas personnel per phone calls.

Dee and Samantha were both very patient with me, and I think receptionist was a young lady named Jodi (?)
also very patient and helpful.

Thank you for making me feel like person of value !

Rang and spoke to very helpful person, (Sam) who gave me a really good deal, so have switched over to them. Painless, as they will drop back my empty cylinders to old supplier. Thanks again, Grant.

After many years of using the large gas companies I finally found a local gas supplier on the Gold Coast that does same day delivery if you order in the morning and so much cheaper. The head office is Brisbane and the local delivery team is in Nerang. They supoly the 45 kg gas bottles at a much cheaper price to the big names and you can speak to a human every time you ring not the usually on hold for 20 minutes deal.
