Seats are reasonably comfortable and service is above average. Pretty punctual with their take offs and landings. You do have to pay extra for meals, entertainment and checked baggage but at the end of the day, they still are much cheaper than competitors. Really good deals can be grabbed during promotions, but make sure you check the conditions/fees for flight changes. Pretty good for a budget airline.

Very good value, as expected with budget airlines expect to pay a bit extra for meals, entertainment and checked baggage. On one of my flights I had a whole row to myself!

LOVE Air Asia! Their planes are new and in excellent condition. They are always clean and well maintained. The leg room is fine as long as you're not 6 foot 7. The service isn't fantastic but at the same time for a budget airline it's perfectly adequate. The meals are excellent - you've just got to remember to order them beforehand. Best of all - they're CHEAP! The prices are amazingly low. I've flown air Asia for the last 2 years and am about to take off with them again. I might not fly with them to London but to Asia I'd be hard pressed flying with anyone else.

i have flown with air asia to and from KL a number of times. its your normal budget airline which you have to pay for your food and drinks, but for the price its definitely worth it. friendly staff and ive never had a problem with cancellations or late flights.

Approximate cost: $450

I have flown to KL twice on Air Asia. For a budget airline they are very good. If you are a big/tall person you can fly in their business class for very reasonable prices. you do need to pay extra for food, luggage and entertainment however it still is very reasonable. Our recent flights purchased were cheaper than to Queensland. Outstanding value!!

Ive flown with Air Asia a few times, they always left on time and once even arrived at the destination 30 minutes early. Great service, the food is ok but I would recommend pre-paying a meal as it usually helps make the journey go faster to have something to eat, otherwise you will be tempted to buy over priced junk food on board. Even when you upgrade your bags and buy meals it still works out much better value than other airlines, and they are so easy to book online.

Revolutionary prices that made other airline to reduce the price. Could not believe their offer today that i could fly from Melbourne to KL only for 73AUD.

I have booked numerous flights on Air Asia. Mostly in Malaysia from KK to KL or KK to Johor Baru.

As a low cost services it is well worth the money - especially if you can book well in advance. My last trip with them was booked 2 months in advance.

One trap to watch out for is that you pay extra if you want checked in baggage. You can also order a meal before hand for a fee.

Approximate cost: $50
