Alan Coban and his team are the epitome of professionalism regarding any of my hairdressing needs. The quality of the service and products offered at this salon is the reason I've been going to Alan Coban Burwood for years. I love my hair, and I have Sonya at Alan's to thank for this. While Sonya has been tending to all my hair needs, if she's ever unavailable any other staff member has also been able to help me with understanding and professionalism.

I have been going to Alan Coban Burwood for many years and I have experienced many different ways in which the excellent hairdressers have cut, coloured and styled my hair. One thing has remained constant and that is the friendly professionalism and the first rate training of new staff by Alan's team. Highly recommended!

I have been going to this salon for about five years. I have my favourite hairdressers there. Occasionally they leave, and I always worry that the new hairdresser who takes over will not be able to cut, colour or style the way the old one did. I have, however, never been disappointed. I have tried many salons, including those in the fashionable suburbs of Sydney, but this is the best. The staff at this salon are well trained, cut beautifully and are always friendly.

I got my hair cut coloured by Sonya at burwood. This was a reaally good experience as the whole time i was comfortable where no one tried to make awkward small chats and remained professional whilst offering me drinks multiple times. Thy were very polite and did an excellent job. Will definitely b going back

I will NOT be going here again.....I went in for a wash and blow dry on Saturday to the Burwood Salon, my hair got washed and then this young girl proceeded to dry my hair and asked me how i would like it done? i asked to blow dry it with a bit of volume and curl. I asked the girl how long she had been working there and she told me a little while working only on weekends...I asked how come..do you have another job during the week? she replied...No, im still in school and i dont even go to any hairdressing academy, ive learnt what i know so far from my sister, im only 16! So, lets get this straight i went into a salon for a 'salon experience' only to be attended by a 16 year old girl who tried her best with my hair but left me with more frizz than ever....i ended up paying $55 only to go home and wash again, i have a 16 year old sister she could have done it for me. WELL DONE ALAN!

Today I came in to get a simple cut and blow dry and relax. They are not my usual hair dresser but they are closer to where I live. It was my first time. The stylists I was handed to seemed to not have any idea. She was nice to me but did not attempt to have any conversation. When cutting my hair, I had to tell her when one side was longer than the other amongst other things. She was so rough when blow drying my hair, I left with a headache. She also put so much product in my hair it now looks dirty so I will have to re wash it before going out tonight. Not to mention the whole time I was there I was never offered anything to drink. I actually don't blame the hairdresser but the owner for not training and managing their team better. It seemed as though all of the hair dressers were young and in-experienced. The place was so big it was like a production line of people, also it made it uncomfortably hot in there.To be paying $105 I expect decent service but was extremely disappointed. This is not how you treat your clients or indeed get future ones.

I like this hairdresser. they are friendly and they know what they are dgoing. i have only had a cut done but ove seen an outcome of foils which looked really good.

very good with hair have to wait awhile though but had a good laugh with the hairdresser thought would recomend to others

this is one of the worst places I've been too. I asked for a posh beckam bob and I got something completely different and ugly. Services were good however, the talent was lacking.
