Aldgate Cafe

After picking up our americian ribs in Stirling we were feeling peckish and thirsty. Decided the Aldgate would suit, we ordered a pizza to share than coffee each. They offer a good menu, comfortable seating and fabulous pizza and coffee.

A pleasant cafe offering some great beer, coffee and gourmet pizzas, friendly staff, great dining areas. I would just have to say that they are a bit pricey but their food is high quality, especially the the pizzas. They also offer a good variety of desserts, which my wife did indulge in, lemon cheesecake was the go, she loved it.

Enjoyed our lunch at this Adelaide Hills cafe. Good menu with pizza and pasta as well. The pizza we chose was based on the meat lovers style and was very nice. The coffee was good. Friendly service in a pleasant setting. The food came in good time too. Look forward to returning another day

A great little place to drop in and have a meal, especially their pizzas, haven't tried any of the their pasta dishes but they do look great. Very friendly service, a pleasant atmosphere with seating outside as well. A great place to meet friends and enjoy some fantastic food. Will be returning.

This is such a gem of a place! With family in Bridgewater, we have popped in here a few times. Nice to have more than one vegie option on the pizza menu and prompt food service. Wish there were more places like this in the Hills!

This is a lovely local cafe with some seating outside in the summer. Very relaxed place and usually plenty of families eating there. Have found plenty of options for vegetarians and they also offer cheeseless pizzas for vegans. No-nonsense kind of place rather than a classy, fine-dining experience but the food is always good and the service friendly. Licenced, plus they deliver locally too.

Lovely lovely food. Could use some more vegetarian options though. Consistent excellent friendly service with a personal touch. Very family friendly. Offer a delivery service too which can be handy.

Friendly, relaxed and fun place. I love the continuous art exhibitions from various groups. Good pizza and the nightly specials are reasonably priced.

Lovely food and good range on offer. Often busy and waiting times are long. Not very child friendly or many options for young kids menu choices. Quite expensive and no reward card offered for frequent diners.

pizza is good/decor is so-so/hours are unpredictable/ good food/nice staff/ and they deliver so its handy!!!

I love this place, reheating is non existent and the staff are experienced and relaxed, they are the kind of level you expect and an award winning restaurant and i think the only reason it hasn't one an award is because with prices that low judges probably think their doing something illegal.

This is a lovely cafe with beautiful coffee and food, and the service is great. It's like a city cafe, so very chic, but in the Adelaide Hills, which is nice. I think this cafe gives Aldgate a sense of style.
