While I was commuting to Brisbane to my long term hairdresser, I was increasingly frustrated that they (stylist and colorist) were not listening and still charging big $$$. Like most women, I was apprehensive about choosing a new hairdresser and received many suggestions from friends etc but I was not convinced. I did my research and found Alicia. Her extensive background and her response when I finally called her put me at ease. At my first appointment, I was able to tell Alicia what I liked and did not like about my hair and she 'got it' and then offered suggestions and a path forward. I am now getting great feedback from friends and her tips have helped me improve the condition of my hair. I really wish I had found Alicia much earlier. Highly recommend.

Booking with Alicia was really easy and when I went into the salon she really took her time with me to work out what I wanted for my hair. She was very professional, very friendly and I am so pleased with my new hair. Alicia was recommended by a friend who has been seeing her as a client for a couple of yrs, and whose hair always looks fantastic. I had a funeral to attend and my regular hairdresser was away. Alicia had never met me before. Yet her experience and knowledge Re colour gave me a look that took 10years off me. The colour cut and blow wave were all incredible and I received many complements from those who know me and those at the funeral who haven’t seen me for 10/15 years couldn’t believe how much I seemed the same. Alicia has been my hairdresser for over one year. I get my regrowth and color every four weeks. I needed to soften and lighten my hair color by a couple of shades. Alicia did this gradually without the use of harsh bleach and now my color is soft and beautiful. Alicia is clearly a professional. She made recommendations to really bring out and compliment my features. I had a cut and colour and it looks lush. This being said, by far, the best part of the treatment was the detailed explanations, tips and tricks to keep my hair beautiful. When I met Alicia for the first time, I didn’t quite know what I wanted or why I didn’t like my hair..I just knew it was bugging me! After an initial conversation with Alicia she was able to articulate the issue which was not so much about the style but about making subtle changes to what I already had. She suggested some styling techniques without using heat appliances that were damaging my hair, made minor changes and happily since then I am achieving a look that I am enjoying without a whole lot of fuss.
