PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!

My dog was at this kennel for 2 nights and when I picked her up, the concrete kennel had nothing but a trampoline bed in it and the concrete floor was wet. Her short coat reeked of feces and she had stuff stuck to it.

The worst part was that it was VERY apparent that the owner completely overdosed her with her anxiety medication. In the car on the way home all she did was sleep, which is completely out of character for my dog given that she has anxiety. At home things just got worse. She fell into a deep sleep and her eyes rolled into her head - all that could be seen was her second eyelid. I tried to shake her awake and yelled her name but she would not wake up. In the end we didn't go to the vet - a decision I have regretted ever since - and she slept it off. She's back to being her normal self and I'm hoping that she doesn't sustain any permanent damage.

To cap it all off, the owner charged me $90 for just 2 nights. I was in too much of a hurry to get my dog out of there to argue the matter. Overall, I would say I'm very lucky that my dog came home alive.

Was nice to actually find a boarding kennel that requires current vaccinations, price was clearly stated & the owners picked up and dropped Max & Sunshine home. We had tour of the facility which was pre-arranged and I liked that the kennels have heating and cooling, and there are a couple of exercise yards for the dogs to run around in. My dogs were well looked after and came home all happy so thank you for looking after my dogs :-)

I too wish I had checked the review before I left my two dogs in their care. They lost alot of weight and one was vet treated for worms the day after she came out. They don't let you look around. They don't let you take your own food. They don't allow dogs enough time to eat nor give them appropriate excercise...

Please don't leave your pets with this couple...

I had to use this kennel for the first time, as my regular was full (I had to go interstate on short notice)

They seemed nice on the phone, and checked for vaccinations etc, though they didn't offer a tour of their facilities, which my regular one does. Not having time, I didn't ask...my mistake.

On picking up my dog (a German Shepherd) 3 days later, he seemed OK. I got him into the back of the car, and when I then sat in the driver's seat, I was nearly overcome by the awful stench being emitted by my dog's coat (all the windows were up); I actually gagged several times. I had to drive back into town with all the windows open, and even then the smell was awful. It smelled like he'd been laying in weeks old dog urine! I had to take him to a dog groomers to have him washed immediately, it was so bad
