I think with any big chain accommodation there is an expectation it will be of a certain standard. We found the Katherine All Seasons Hotel to be less than impressive. The first room we were allocated had a massive pool of water on the carpet underneath the air con unit at the door. The second room we were allocated smelt like cigarettes. Third room still had a funky smell but was tolerable - the thought of changing rooms again was really too embarassing. Room was clean but just a room. For the price I would next time seek alternative accommodation and hope for something more impressive.
