Yes cheap. But service was ridiculous, unprofessional and unhelpful. We had our battery nearly blow up on us. Stuck in Noosa for a few hours, staying in surfers. We smell a really bad odor in the car. Pull over in carpark in Noosa Heads reserve. The guy nextdoor to us says that's your battery. We ring alpha car hire Coolangatta, she says there is no knowing that it is there problem and to ring road side rescue ourselves. We are not from Australia! We find out the number from the helpful guy beside us. They say they need alpha car hire to organise there call out. Alpha says we aren't taking any responsibility you need to do it as we don't know it's our fault! (it's the battery). The guy next to us gets on the phone rings roadside rescue using his details and explaining our situation. They come, incredibly helpful, ring up alpha say it's there battery and it was about to blow up under the hood!!!! We have a 1 year old in the car. Never to be going with them again

The cost for 8 days was MUCH lower than other companies. The car was almost brand new. The staff were very helpful and understanding. Due to s serious accident, the Bruce Highway was closed and we were very late in returning the car but there was no extra charge.
