We used Alpha to manage our rental after buying the property through them. Management rates were competitive, staff were incredibly friendly but communication was inconsistent compared to other property managers. When the tenancy ended we had to wait about 4 months for arrears and a partial bond refund. For context, they managed the property through the height of COVID which presented hurdles and the delay in refund was attributed to a difficult tenant.

Alpha Residential managed my property for almost 2 years. Throughout this they could not keep a tenant for longer than six months. They constantly missed payments causing my loan to default. When it came to parting company they refused to hand my keys back. The property was left in a mess with no bond to cover it (because they had already paid it back to the tenant). Now they are trying to send me a bill for title searches etc.

On top of all of this Alpha Residential's customer service has been disgusting. They have been misleading and have lied on numerous occasions. Appalling behaviour for any real estate company.

Please don't use this business!
