I often visit when in town the friendliness and efficient staff always make my visit worthwhile. The food and coffee is great. Using fresh ingredients is important, as this will always make people always come back for more. It's my guilty pleasure.

Great food and the service is lovely. The wait staff are always polite and friendly. Nice little spot in a busy shopping centre. Good variety of food to choose from. Its one of my favourite places to go for lunch and I always recommend to my friends.

I'm a visitor here in Hobart from Qld, we arrived late in the day for coffees. the girl had cleared outside area for day but let us sit there anyway-with a nice smile on her face! some people would have just said no, i've cleaned and thats that, but it wasnt a problem for this girl. i think thats going beyond, so i commend her service. it's quiet here to read the paper(supplied),have a chat. it feels private. looked very clean and tidy and pleasant.the coffees were superb and well priced. i'm looking forward to my next experience at Amalfi's.

The staff of Amalfi café are particularly to be commended. The girls who serve and take orders are very pleasant and friendly, sufficient that my guest saw fit to comment. I choose to visit the café for all the above reasons, excellent food, value etc and being served by lovely staff is a sure way of maintaining customer loyalty.

By far the best cafe we have found in this area and now go there often. Quiet location in very busy Centre. Friendly and helpful service. Good choice of menu items. Excellent presentation. Coffee guaranteed to be made precisely as requested. Great spot to relax and enjoy the food and coffee.

The food is just as I hoped it would be, not WOW but certainly what I paid for. The staff are attentive and there when needed. To me the biggest selling point is the location, a little bit of peace and quiet in the busy Christmas shopping buzz

We visit often at various times of the day either with friends, family and taken overseas visitors. Service always the same-friendly, kind and fast. The staff are kind and caring to their regular customers. The coffee-just delicious!!!!!!!!

I visited Amalfi with my father upon their opening and we received free coffees, which I insisted Dad and I pay for after as they were so nice compared to those of other nearby cafes. Since, I visit Amalfi regularly whenever I'm nearby, and every visit is a treat. Would recommend to anyone looking for a well priced meal, in a quiet, central area with friendly service. Nice to see how far the cafe has come since that first day! :)
