My husband and I meet for light lunches or morning teas during the week. The service is always friendly and efficient and the meals are really good. We prefer this cafe to many others in the CBD. Not too expensive and central for a city cafe.

Approximate cost: $12 to $20

Freshly prepared meals. Risotto was delicious and full breakfast with perfectly poached eggs was wonderful. Service was friendly and the cafe had enough room to accomodate a twin pram . Convenient location, we will be back.

Approximate cost: $16

Nice and quiet with a very handy location. Thought service was great and that the prices were really reasonable....on the cheaper side! Yay! I also really liked that they have quite a few choices on the kids' menu. Well done

The feta, spinach, sundries tomato and chicken quiche was one of best quiches I have ever had. Staff were extremely friendly and service conscious -had a lovely relaxing lunch time experience.

A quiet restaurant in a busy and handy location. Knowledgable, friendly and interested staff. Great food and variety at reasonable prices. Definitely value for money. I was looking for something nice to eat that didn't fall into the take-away category - something filling but not a three course event! I was more than pleasantly surprised with the peaceful atmosphere in the centre of the city. Food was above and beyond my expectations and the staff were amazing. A+++

We received bad service from another coffee lounge and so went to Amalfi. Service good, food good and it was cheaper than the previous place. Also my husband said the coffee was much better than the previous place. Keep up the good work!

Without doubt the best soy cuppacino in Hobart! Very well priced, carefully and expertly made, and *consistantly* good. The staff are very friendly and the cakes look terrific. I haven't eaten there but my workmate goes all the time and thinks the food is exceptional.

Approximate cost: $15
