I needed a new hairdresser and after reading the good reviews I decided to go here. I have long hair and was very nervous going somewhere new. This place was great. Amazing hairdresser, great vibe, friendly hilarious staff and all the other customers which came in had been going there since it opened 9 years ago. Very impressed and strongly recommend.

I was sceptical to try a new hairdresser moving to the area, I walked passed the salon and saw how much fun everyone was having and how engaging the staff were with the customers, i went in to book an appointment and the following week had my hair done. Iv never loved my hair so much! Both Sam and serena do a fantastic job! :) would absolutely recommend!

I always go to Amasso to have my hair and waxing done.

I am always really pleased with my hair when I leave the salon. Sam does a great job always and is really knowledgeable and has lots of experience. Their beautician is also excellent. Super efficient and always greeted with a smile and jokes! I would not consider going anywhere else as I always have such a great experience!

You simply won't find a better hairdresser who actually cares about their client's needs! Just don't book them out please cause I'm a regular and don't want to struggle to get a hair appointment. :)

I had my hair done here but NEVER again. Colour was all wrong. They said they'd fix it but I didn't have time and didn't trust them. The cut was all over the place and will take months to correct. I kept telling the girl it was too short and don't chop in.... but to no avail. TERRIBLE

There is only one word to describe Amasso, FANTASTIC :) Fantastic colour, cut, and blowaves. Sam is the BEST of the best, and his blowaves are UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. I melt with every scalp massage he gives me. I could rave on all day. I love getting my hair done, he makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world, every girls dream. Have recommended approx 10 people to him so far, and will always continue to recommend him to anyone that wants a great hair experience and to look a million dollars.

I walked into Amasso for the first time after after a friend recommended I go there. I was really hesitant to try a new salon but I finally made an appointment to go down. Now I wish I had of gone there sooner. My hair has never looked and felt so great. Sam gave me a very honest and professional consultation. His passion for hair is very obvious. Although i was there for a few hours getting a cut, colour, treatment and blow-wave, time seemed to pass very quickly as Sam kept the salon entertained and kept us all laughing. Not very often you go to a salon and get a great hair experience and get to watch a stand up comedy show at the same time. Sam wanted to make sure I got the full Amasso experience which I sure did. I highly reccomend Amasso.

Sam has been cutting my hair now for just about 9 years! i've never walked out unsatisfied and i always get complements on my hair.... i am the type of person who likes change a lot so every time i go in he is always able to help me work out a hair colour and style to suit that is always different. As for the service you are always offered a coffee and friendly service. There was a stage when i couldn't find sam after he left a salon, i did venture out and try a numerous amount of other salons but many times was left unsatisfied. I'm more than happy with the amasso experience.

Sam is the man, an amazing hairdresser Australia's own Zohan, have been going to Amasso for 1.5 years now and i have never walked out unhappy (and i am very fussy) love the cuts, colors, the amazing washing experience sam also does a great and blow job too!!! Always look forward to hair day!!!!

Sam has been more than helpful from the start. I've been going their for about 1.5 years now and finally i like the colour of my hair. He isnt the best at blow waving but he always offers a free dry or treatment. And insists if your not happy to let him know. Very comfy chairs & heaps of new mags! Always offers a coffee/tea!
