Pretty below average service, something which I hate at restaurants. The view is great outside the restaurant and the food really is nice, they make a mean pizza.

Normally Amello is to expensive for me to visit on a regular basis, but on Monday nights they have 5 dollar pizza. the Pizza is amazing! I wouldn't pay the normal price for it because it usually takes two to fill me up, but five dollars is ridiculously cheap. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. It's right on the beach next to the sea baths. and in the evening you can watch the sun set while you eat.

We went there on a Sunday night, a large group. We were catching up with high school friends, hadn't seen in a long time. This was not the ideal place for it as the music from the outside courtyard was too loud. There was outdoor salsa dancing just beneath Soul Mama and the music just blared, waiters could not do anything about it. Had to shout to have a conversation. The food was very good though, I recommend the lobster linguini. Pretty good value too and the outside deck looks cool to hang out in (they have really cool pod chairs that hang from the ceiling and looking out on to the sea) but it was too windy to be out there. The waiter was friendly but we took our time ordering and getting seated and I think he might have been a little annoyed! Anyway, will not go again on Sunday night. I think they should have alerted me to the fact that it would be quite loud when I made the booking, as the salsa dancing is on every week apparently.

Approximate cost: $10-$25
