We went as a group of 4 to this restaurant on a saturday night. Lucky we made a booking because when we got there, we discovered it was quite small.

The food was amazing, we had pineapple chicken, a beef stirfry and a tofu and veg salad called yum yim yam. We also tried the desserts, banana roti and ice cream, sticky coconut rice. Very tasty and portions were reasonable.

The venue is a little squashy, (we saw a lot of people just get takeaway) the dining is done on 2 communal long tables with benches along either side so it can be a bit uncomfortable to sit down and get up. But the owner told us a new venue is now open in moonee ponds that is bigger so might be worth checking out. I don't mind the small space though since the food is so good, and pretty good value for money too, not too expensive (can eat fully for about $16 a person)

Approximate cost: $18

We went quite early on a Saturday night and had a lovely dinner. The food was really good, especially recommend the chicken fajitas which have a delicious marinade and smoky flavour (though my beef enchiladas had a bit too much cheese in them rather than meat). The decor is very casual and kinda homey, without looking cheap. Service was fine, had no problems.

The restaurant is a bit of a drive out if you're not a local (we only went because it was on the way home from the Werribee open range zoo). Also the prices are high for relatively simple fare - beans, rice, meat, tortillas. The bill came to about $55 for 2 mains and 2 serves of corn chips and salsa, but we paid $40 with the 25% discount Entertainment Book voucher. In America, we would have paid half the price for equally good food and the corn chips and salsa would've been free (like prawn crackers at Chinese restaurants). I guess Mexican is a bit more of a novelty out here though. I don't know if I'll be back again, I like the food but don't know if it's enough to justify the cost (and the petrol to drive out there).

We went there on a Sunday night, a large group. We were catching up with high school friends, hadn't seen in a long time. This was not the ideal place for it as the music from the outside courtyard was too loud. There was outdoor salsa dancing just beneath Soul Mama and the music just blared, waiters could not do anything about it. Had to shout to have a conversation. The food was very good though, I recommend the lobster linguini. Pretty good value too and the outside deck looks cool to hang out in (they have really cool pod chairs that hang from the ceiling and looking out on to the sea) but it was too windy to be out there. The waiter was friendly but we took our time ordering and getting seated and I think he might have been a little annoyed! Anyway, will not go again on Sunday night. I think they should have alerted me to the fact that it would be quite loud when I made the booking, as the salsa dancing is on every week apparently.

I had to get new tyres for my car. I rang up beforehand wanting to make an appointment asap and they said they could do it right away. I brought in my car and picked out the tyres I saw on their ad, $229 for 4 13"tyres plus $35 alignment. They had it done in about an hour, and even without me requesting it (I meant to but forgot) they left the best tyre (the one not worn out) as a spare in the boot and got rid of the rest. The car was parked out in front of the door when I walked out so all I had to do was get in my car and drive away in my new tyres. Too easy.

Approximate cost: $264 for 4 tyres plus alignment

I can't comment on extensive motor repair work. However I did put my car in for a roadworthy certificate and I must say, don't go here for a RWC. The guy wouldn't pass it until I got my entire front windscreen replaced. He claims there are chips all over it but they are tiny little spots, probably from poor sandblasting of the glass, you can't even see them until you put your nose right up to the glass and slant your head to look at it in the right lighting. You can't even feel them when you run your hand over the glass. There was a little scratch from the end of one of the windscreen wipers. But go to vicroads website and download the standards - it says the windscreen should not be rejected if it is not scratched or chipped to the extent that it is unsafe for the driver to drive. When I mentioned this to him, he said he's the one with the license, not me.

I know I'm not qualified, but I am the driver and it is definitely not that bad, I can see perfectly fine from my seat. Moreover, I wasn't prepared to waste more of my time (or one cent more than the $70 I already paid him) so took it to another place that said the windscreen was fine to pass.

I've had one of the worst customer service experiences at this branch at corner of Collins and Swanston streets. When I was a student at university, I was not charged a monthly fee for their banking services, which was good value. However, Westpac failed to inform me that I need to renew my student status every year. So I was charged a monthly fee for a few months before I noticed it was going out of my account. I called the customer service line, and the attendant informed me that I could just go into any branch and get my fees refunded upon proof of my student identity.

I went into this branch, where I opened my account, and told the customer service lady my problem. She said that it wasn't their branch policy to refund fees in this situation. I told her about my phone conversation, and that if it was the same bank, why were the policies different. She just shrugged her shoulders and looked out the window behind me. I was so infuriated, I asked to speak to the manager. He came along and when I told him my problem, he just shook his head and said vaguely, "Nooo, we don't do that here".

Firstly, the policies of the customer service hotline and each branch of the same bank should be the same. This is only fair to manage customer expectations.

Secondly, if it turns out one of them got it wrong, the customer should be treated with politeness and respect. Looking out the window and ignoring the customer is just plain rude.

Thirdly, politely explain to the customer the reason behind the policy and at least apologise for any inconvenience. I can think of many things I'd rather do than waste my time going into a bank to be rudely treated.

Fourthly, the policy just isn't right. The bank should refund the fees and make good its promise to students who have their accounts there if they are bona fide students. It's only $5 a month, which is more money to the student than it is to the bank.

I have since closed my account and won't be joining them again.

My family and I went here recently. The decor was lovely and spacious, but we were seated right under a vent in the ceiling so it was a little chilly. The food was great, we had the all you can eat grill for $35. The meat was tender and seasoning was quite nice. However there's only so much meat you can eat!

The service was really good, the servers were polite and prompt, keeping an eye on whether we wanted more food or not. The waiters were not too attentive but were always available when needed.

The only thing I'd say was they asked us if we wanted more vegetables, but did not inform us that there was an extra charge. We didn't ask because we thought since it's all you can eat, it was all included.

Approximate cost: $35

I have had a $49 cap plan for about a year. It's been ok for the price, but I've had 3 major problems.

First, bad reception. I work in an office building and I find if I am not near the windows, or out in an open space like the lobby downstairs, the reception is very bad.

Second, related to the first, alot of the phone calls I'm on are dropped. They just cut out for no reason. Very inconvenient when during a conversation.

Third, bad customer service. Whenever I call the 1555 number with a query, I wait at least 15 minutes before I talk to a human being. Then usually I need to be transferred because I've ended up in the wrong area due to the voice automated system obviously not having a brain of its own, does not know who I want to speak to and about what. Even after I finally get in contact with the right person, they don't answer my query satisfactorily.

Example. I recently got a new blackberry pearl. It took me half an hour on the 1555 line to get 2 conflicting answers to my question, and after verifying my identity 3 times to different people after they forwarded me on to other departments. Fed up, I dropped by a store to confirm and the 5 attendants there did not have a straight answer to my question. I just wanted to know whether I had to pay extra for the data service on my blackberry or whether I could use the data already included in my $49 cap.

After ringing a customer service line himself, one of the attendants finally confirmed with me that I indeed need to have a separate service because the blackberries use different sockets for the internet to other phones. Such a simple answer, but why did it take so long for these customer service "experts" to tell me this? Such a frustrating experience.

I am going to pay $250 (half my monthly fee for every month remaining in the contract) just to exit the contract and join someone else. The exit fees are criminal too, how can they charge so much when they are the ones with the bad service?

We had a big group dinner here for a joint birthday, about 16 people. The food was amazing, the waiters didn't rush us for our order but when we did order the food wasn't too long in coming. The service was professional but friendly enough, not snobby.

I was also impressed with the wine list, though they could have had a few more by the glass. The waiter's suggestion for a white wine was wonderful though so as long as there are a few good one by the glass I guess it doesn't matter.

We were the last out of the restaurant but they didn't try to hurry us out. Great service.

I've had 3 experiences with this restaurant. The first one was satisfactory, it was around when they first opened.

The second time a small group of us tried to go there on a week night and we were told there were no available seats, when we could plainly see there were plenty of empty tables. When we asked about this, we were given a vague answer about them all being reserved.

The third time was the last straw. A large group of us (about 13 or 14) went in March this year without a booking, but we were seated straight away, which was positive. However our food took an hour and a half to come out and when it finally did, some of the orders were wrong, and some of the food was cold. We were given no discount or apologies for the delay, and no explanations during the wait, not even some bread. The one thing I expect at a restaurant of this standard where we are paying average $30 for a main meal is good service and this was definitely not met. I won't be going there again.

Approximate cost: $30
