I used to league bowl at AMF Highpoint, then the staff members started treating me like crap for no reason, from that point on I knew I couldn't go back there under any circumstance, when I say never bowl here for any reason, boy do I bloody well mean it, don't waste your hard earned money there.

I haven't been bowling for a while and a friend suggested I go with her this morning. Sunday morning is a good time to go as it's not crowded and they often have specials on.

Well, it certainly wasn't crowded, there were only one or two lots of other players there. And the usual noise factor which I don't like, was eliminated. Not that it made my bowling skills any better by being quieter - she knocked down twice as many pins as I did.

It was $8 per game plus shoe hire, and it really was a lot of fun. There are some other deals on for the school holidays too.

It's up on top of Harvey Norman/Officeworks opposite Highpoint so heaps of parking and then other opportunities to go places. There's a cafe, a bar and sensational party opportunities for kids - either with normal bowling and party or with the laser skirmish area, but that's a touch pricey - depends on how many guests you have.
