I have been a member for about 16 years, and for about ten years I submitted to the guessing game every single day. NEVER ONCE DID I WIN EVEN ONE NUMBER OUT OF SIX GUESSES. It's against the law of logics. I once wrote to them but got what I believe was an automatic reply. AFTER 14-16 YEARS... I'M OUT.

Went to Rumi on Saturday night with the family and it was a great surprise. The food was to die for..... Middle Eastern cuisine. It's a little like tapas and we left it up to the waitress to make our selections. Make sure you have the cauliflower which was really unusual and tasty and also the lamb shoulder which just fell off the bone. Also the best Turkish delight I've ever tasted.

Went to Target Bourke Street to check out strollers yesterday. We were really engrossed in what we were doing when a dark haired sales assistant from the toy department asked us if we needed help. A RARE THING THESE DAYS. He was extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. He assisted us all the way through purchase to pickup at the loading dock. Thank you sales assistant you were a great ambassador for Target.

Went there for the first time yesterday for lunch. The food was really lovely and have no complaints. I had eggs benedict and it was up there with any other I,ve had. My husband said his calamari salad was great. Asked for water and it was on the table in seconds. Only complaint is that you have to pay for parking. So that will add $9 to your meal if you are driving.

Went to Trippy for lunch. My daughter took me and at first I was a little hesitant but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and lots to choose from. It's a little on the small side so you may have to wait for a table but it's well worth it.

We had take away pizza's last night for a family get together. Their pizza's a very gourmet with a thin base which I love. They have very unusual toppings with a wide variety to choose from. We had the potato pizza, the prawn pizza and the Gorgonzola pizzas. We bought a couple of each type. Everyone loved them.

Went to a party there in the function room. It's a great venue with a bar in the centre of the room. Cool music and the food was great. Not a lot of deep fried stuff. Great place for a function.

Needed to see a doctor so my daughter recommended Northside. I was very pleased with the standard of care both by the clinic and the doctor. This will be my regular doctor in future. Only downside is that you can't always get in immediately if you need to see a doctor urgently.

We went on this tour last night. We were really surprised at how many people were on the tour... About 100 which speaks for itself. The guide was quite a character and during the two hour tour took us through parts of Melbourne I didn't know existed although I thought I knew Melbourne well. In all not spooky at all but we had a really fun night for the price.

Andrews has been around for as long as I can remember. The hamburgers are great and very reasonably priced with a lot of choice. They are an institution in the area.
