I first came across Amy Jean whilst I was on a Christmas holiday in her Gold Coast Salon in 2010.
I made an appointment to have my brows shaped and tinted. When I first visited Amy Jean my brows were shapeless and looked lifeless. Since visiting Amy Jean my brows have shape and now frame my face. It has definitely made a difference. Since my first visit to Amy Jean in 2010 I visit Amy Jean in her Sydney Salon every 3 to 4 weeks for an brow shape, brow tint and eyelash tint. I would never go anywhere else. Her Sydney Privee Salon is absolutely beautiful. Amy Jean is a professional at what she does. You are made to feel comfortable. I highly recommend Amy Jean...

Amy- Jean (otherwise known as AJ) is a gorgeous shining star- a goddess! She has made my arches perfect since I first saw her on the Gold Coast 13 years ago...! I would not trust them with anyone else! My brows adore her and so do I...! AJ is an inspiration!

Really disappointed with my brows, all the colour has fused together, forming a greyish colour as they used black on my brow. I have since visited another clinic who told me that the hair were blading to close together and all in one direction and that black should never be used and they strokes were done quick deep. Dry healing is also a big no no. Now I have to either get the colour removed or else wait until it fades out. The fact that reviews cannot be left on their social media tells a lot.

I have had my eyebrows done with the feather technique for the last 3 years by Amy Jean. I had previously had them 'block' tattooed - my skin didn't take the dye and they faded in 6 months. Amy refreshes them each year and I couldn't be happier.

Reading some of the negative reviews I wonder if they are real as I have always had professional treatment by Amy and her experienced and friendly staff. There is no way that people would walk out of her salon with misshapen brows and the like, though some people think that if they complain they will get way more than what they paid for.

I have gone from having barely any hair in my brows to having lovely brows that frame my face in such a natural way that no one has ever asked me if my brows are natural or not!

I think the best recommendation is that Amy Jean has many repeat customers (as witnessed by me in her waiting room over the years) and I book a year in advance to ensure I get an appointment.

BUYER BEWARE these guys are beyond rude and have no customer service skills what so ever. I paid them $1200 for a service and once they had my money they didn't seem to care about me. Tried to rebook my second lip consult after my uni placement but unfortunately was pressured into taking an inconvenient appointment because management said the lip girl was too over-worked and too exhausted to fly interstate any more!! They had management call me personally to 'put me in my place' and even had the audacity to say "couldn't YOU just catch a little flight from Melbourne to Sydney to have the lip girl finish her work because she won't be coming back to Melbourne"...despite the fact I had signed an agreement that stated I was entitled to a touch up....in Melbourne...

Even after this ugly situation was resolved and I gave in to taking the appointment as a last resort, they decided to be even more unprofessional and had a rude/arrogant amy-jean representative contact me to cancel a subsequent brow appointment because they couldn't be bothered with me any more. They used the excuse that my brows were "unsuitable" when only two weeks prior my lips were perfectly suitable for tattooing.

Sweetheart, I'm sure you would NEVER treat a celebrity like this and people that pay you this much money don't pay you for this disgusting attitude. I feel sorry for the staff. It's really interesting how the amy-jean Facebook page is blocked from anybody being able to write an honest review about this business and services because they are afraid people will
complain about their behaviour. I'm 100% sure I'm not the first and won't be the last.

Thank you so much Amy Jean, you did an amazing job on my eyebrows. Each time I have been there I was made to feel welcome. The traffic was horrendous on my first appointment and I ended up running late, Ruby was so understanding and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Amy Jean, I left a very happy lady.
