Very special place ! We had fresh prawns and there chowder is so good. I had scallops in white wine sauce - really tasty and other people at our table commented on meal size as well. Loved the cocktails and staff were lovely also. We are already booked in for next month !

Anchors is my favourite when it comes to fresh fish. I always ask "what's fresh today?" and have about 6 to choose from. Having friends who are Coeliac, I also appreciate that the waitstaff always ask "any intollerance to Gluten?". They cater for kids and large groups, and they always treat you well.

We went today for lunch and had the lobster specials - both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The girls were lovely who served us and the meals were large and very tasty.
