Truly wonderful lunch on mothers day With nan and mum - we shared the huge seafood tower and really liked the homemade ice creams - it was really busy but we had a nice waitress who looked after us very well. We get our Friday night takeaway here but had not eaten in the restaurant for about 8 years - heaps better now - Great seafood

We had a great day recently at Anchors. The Ladies all meet up monthly and this month we gave Anchors a go. Pleasantly surprised - our server was lovely and attentive, the food delicious and fresh and the decor, cleanliness and overall presentation was just great. They really care and are very welcoming - we even got to meet the lady owner who introduced herself to us and wished us a lovely day! Never has this happened during our outings! Great lunch today - best creamy garlic prawns ! Loved the kids menu and the kids "mock tails" were a hit ! Kids were very chuffed at the puzzles and games - we have already booked for our next birthday in June ! Love anchors

Fantastic food! Staff were very attentive and even gave a balloon to my dad for his birthday which was impressive ! Loved their seafood platter tower / best in Newcastle for sure ! We will be back for magic night with the relos !!

I did not enjoy my experience here. it food was slow and the staff were a bit rude. I came with a large group and we were ignored. It was not a good job, i wont be coming back.
