Dr Wendy Bernet has been our family doctor for many years now. She is by far the best GP we have ever come across. She genuinely cares for her patients and is extremely thorough. She’s always happy to answer any questions/concerns and doesn’t rush you at all. If she is unavailable, there are many other great regular doctors at this clinic. Highly recommend.

Treatment here can vary a great deal, depending who you see. One GP prescribed me an antibiotic I have a severe allergy to - even though it is clearly noted in my records. Fortunately my pharmacist pointed it out and called the doctor. The same GP later prescribed my 2yo daughter an antibiotic that the ER doctor at RCH later described as 'antiquated' and one that very few doctors prescribe, since 10% of children have a reaction known as 'serum sickness' approximately 10 days after treatment. My daughter was swollen, vomiting and screaming in agony for some 24 hours and took several days to recover. Other GPs have since agreed with the ER doctor's opinion when I've mentioned it.

Having said that, there are also some marvellous doctors in the clinic and if you know at least 48 hours in advance that you'll need an appointment, you'll do fine. Dr Giarrusso is lovely, as are Wendy Bernet and the gentle Margaret Prowse. There are two new young male doctors whose names I can't recall. They saw my daughter and I recently for a vicious chest infection and both were very thorough and considered in their assessment and treatment plans. Like anywhere I guess you have to take the good with the bad, and its still a pretty popular clinic.

My family has been attending this clinic for over 15 years and you get good old fashioned TLA and real care! For the ladies - 5 excellent female doctors! However all the doctors in this practice are very caring and thorough. They also never hesitate to get a second opinion if required and only refer their patients to proven specialists. I see Dr Wendy Bernet and Dr Eric Tay both fantastic people who never rush you.

My parents have been going here since it opened with just 2 doctors, my entire family go to the clinic and no matter who you see - they are all fantastic! I go to see Dr Wendy Barnett and she always rembers social things you have been up to and is the best GP I have ever come across

I really only went to see Kylie because my doctor said I should and I could go on the new medicare scheme (which meant that I paid basically nothing for the service myself), but I was really pleasantly surprised. I felt like Kylie really listened to me and helped me to understand myself a little better, and actually gave me permission to be me! Should I need to I would happily go and see her again.
