We have been buying the Andrew Dark Rye bread for many years. It used to be available in Brandon Park, but as the European delicatessens are giving way to Asian shops, it is hard to get. Now I have to travel far, and more often than not, the few loaves are gone before I get there.
It would be a very nice gesture from the owners of the business to set up a simple website with information which shops they supply, and what days.

I buy Andrews at the Deli at Keilor Downs Plaza. Next January I will know to buy a couple of loaves to put in the freezer. Any other sourdough/rye that you buy in supermarkets are pre-sliced into disgustingly thick slices. Andrews are the only ones I have found which are not pre-sliced so I can cut them whichever way I like. AND they taste the best.

Approximate cost: $6.50

This is the best Rye bread around, we have a few shops that actually sell ,but it soon sells out,so got to be quick. Try and you won’t go back to any other bread.

This Bread is the old style bread that you can get in Europe. there are around about 7 breads in there range. there is the dark rye bread (which is what i recommend), light rye, light rye with caraway seeds, light rye with onion, country bread, multi grain, and there rye delux bread. if your looking of a bakery that know there rye breads try Andrew sourdough.

Approximate cost: $5.5
