I always take my dogs to the vets at the Animal Welfare League as they are so well priced and with some things almost half the price charged at other vets. You can buy medications, food, leads and toys for your furry friend at a really cheap price and all your money is going back into the league. Appointments are necessary unlessmof an emergency of course and they are open 7 days which is also handy. The vets and nurses are so good and really helpful and the poor girls on the front counter are always so so busy but still remain so happy and helpful! My three older kids are all members of the league which gets them a monthly magazine and your membership money helps them buy supplies. If anyone has any blankets or old towels please take them out and hand them in as the animals need them all the time summer or winter.

The Animal Welfare League is a great orgnaisation which recieves no government funding so it is important for the community to support them in all the great work that they do. The vet services are the cheapest I have found and they have really lovely staff there. The AWL has a zero euthanashia policy so all their saved puppies, kittens, cats, dogs and other animals will stay there until a family will take them to their forever homes so please stop in to adopt your next pet and save their lifes.

People can donate blankets, pillows etc to this organisation as well as their time.... a worthwhile thing to do.

The AWL offer a vet service that we use for our 2 dogs. They are the cheapest on the Gold Coast, but more importantly all profits go into the AWL to help other animals. The staff here are amazing, so kind and caring helping sick, injured and abandoned animals.

The only place I go to adopt a new furry family member. They save hundreds of animal's lives daily, so not only will you be purchasing a pet that is vaccinated, wormed and de-sexed for less money than a pet shop, you're also supporting a great charity!

amazing group of people who carelessly fundraise to help rehome thousands of surrendered and rescued animals every year. Pets are dumped outside, in parks and have real bads stories to tell. AWL helps them all. they desex, microchip, vaccinate and worm all adoptees looking for a home. very reasonably priced. has many pets to choose from and works with numerous pet stores to help rehome adoptees as well. great non profit organization.

They are very reasonably priced with great vets who really care about the animals. The shelter ensures animals who usually would be put down get to live out their life in caring environment.

I found an injured bird that I cared for until I could find help. The AWL were happy to take her in even though they are desperate for more room, money, food and medical help for their animals. They have such a professional business considering they are a non-profit organization. It's nice just to take a walk around the premises and visit the animals and to support the AWL.
