Loved it! Wonderful food with exceptionally well matched wines and attentive service by staff who seemed genuinely concerned about our dining experience. I enjoyed the layout of the restaurant (we were effectively sitting at the bar to eat). A small and romantic restaurant that'd be a good place to impress a date.

Anise is an intimate European style restaurant and wine bar that is unique in Brisbane. Perfect for a special night out for those who love good food and good wine. This is one of the few places where the staff are genuinely passionate and extremely knowledgeable. We tried the food and wine matching, where with each course you taste about 5 different wines of a certain variety and can choose which one to have a full glass of. You'll have great conversations with the staff and other patrons who sit elbow to elbow along the bar.
