A favourite of ours in Canberra. The proprietor is an amazing host and the meals are always of exceptional quality. Only a small restaurant, but it has been around in Canberra for many years and survives where many have failed. If you want to feel at home and enjoy a fabulous meal in unpretentious surroundings, this is the place to go.

Consistently great food - a real gem in that regard. Service certainly could be snappier and friendlier, but that is forgiven once you get the dish. Great place for a date.

We are from Sydney, we where looking somewhere to have dinner, we looked at the black outside Ardeche, we where not sure if it was the restaurant for us, then a good looking men with a French accent came and said hello and we knew it will be ok to have dinner in this restaurant.
The food service, it was just amazing, we are from Sydney, Ardeche will make some top restaurants in Sydney second rate.
We will tell all our friends this is the place to come when in Canberra.

This little gem has been our favourite 'go to' restaurant for many years. Great ambience, authentic dishes, thoughtful, professional service and fantastic value for money will keep us coming back for many years to come. We love it!
