Amazing fine dining restaurant with a beautiful view of the Opera House and harbour. Quality food and wonderful service. Recommend!
Love the decor and feel of this restaurant. Brown hues and comfortable seats, with gnarled bits of wood dotted around and warm lighting makes Aria feel like you are, well, in a fine dining Aussie restaurant.
The service was great, attentive and polite, with advice about wine and food, but also not too stuffy. Food was delicious, really beautifully presented with classic but delicious flavour combinations. Everything was cooked really well and added to a really nice evening. Perfectly placed for a really well priced pre-theatre dinner, if I'm in this neck of the woods again, will be back!
Aria is simply amazing! It is everything I thought it would be before I dined there and more. The produce of the highest quality, and the dishes themselves are both refined and decadent. The service is the brilliant, they certainly are on the ball and treat you as special guests of the restaurant. The view from most seats is beautiful and even the restrooms are quite nice. Aria is expensive and certainly a special occasion restaurant for someone like myself, but anyone who gets the opportunity to try it will certainly walk away a satisfied customer with a full tummy.
oh yes... give me class..style.. ambience and rubbing of the ol' shoulders with Sydneys
elite of course a price tag to match... but who cares?

Sounds stylish
Love the place, food is so delicious. The customer service is just unbelievable, so amazing! The atmosphere was just perfect.
Amazing place, ambiance, staff and amazing food. the staff service is just amazing and the food was so delicious. Perfect combination of each thing. Loved it!!!
So darling harbour. I've been here a couple of times, but I'm just not digging it. Everyone who goes here is a tourist and I just feel there are so many better places in Sydney to go out for dinner in.
Approximate cost: $40
the food is amazing here and so is the whole experience, from the attentive service, the awesome wine selection, the sommelier suggesting great matching wines, such a treat and don't forget the views!
Love love love. There's only great things to say about this restaurant, view is spectacular, atmosphere is beautiful. Staff are extremely friendly and knowledgable. You have to order the seasonal tasting menu you won't be disappointed, and have your wait staff match up the wines per meal. Worth every cent, it's not just a great food, it's a great dining experience, fine dinning at its best!
Approximate cost: $180
sounds niceee
We went to Aria for our anniversary dinner and were really happy with the food and service. The view was just magnificent as I was overlooking both Opera house and Harbour Bridge. WE loved our entree, main and desserts. The pork belly was my best meal for the night and they even served complimentary chocolates. The waiters were really friendly and knowledgeable. Overall great experience and will be going back for sure.
Approximate cost: $100
a beautiful fine dinning experience i dont go much to fine dining but this was a great experince the staff well trained matt mourans had a special festival menu for $55 the view was to die fr night time is amazing we tried 4 dishes all 5star i will go again
INCREDIBLE VIEW AND FOOD. SERVICE IS ALSO VERY GOOD
Thanks for sharing. I might consider booking it for a special ocassion with my husband.
It's about experience not just the food, service, view, celebrity chief or its name. It is fine dining at its peak. We had the tasting menu of 7 dishes of which we have seen some on the MasterChef show. It was an awesome night and a truly unforgettable experience.
Approximate cost: $160 per person for tasting menu
I agree with you. Such an great experience...
Couldn't agree more, it is about the experience, and you just can't pass by the tasting menu!
Fine dining at its best. The service.. amazing,, the very.. doesnr get any better than Sydney harbour. I hard the best steak I have ever eaten from Aria. it should be as it cost enough, Desert was a tasting plate which my wife and shared so we didnt have to choose just one. Wine for each course was great and just enhanced the experience. It is not just a meal, it is an experience.
Approximate cost: $40
Thanks for that. Might go there for dinner one day
great food and service
last week its the first time i went to aria resturant, the view from our table at night was beautiful the menu was high class as finedinning but new it would be pricey but well worth it
This resturaunt is great, the view looking over Sydney harbour is spectacular. I recommend people to take a love one or someone special or even for a business event. This resturaunt is owned by Matt Moran and is doing a great job with promoting his fresh produce. Go check it out. Little pricy but worth the experience .
What an amazing night we had. Unforgettable view is stunning.
Food is rich but worth the calories. wine list very extensive
I have only been once. lovely it. Of course expceted to pay a lot but it was worth it. We where seated by the window which had a lovely view of the Oprea house. One thing I did not like was some of the tables view were blocked by big pillers.
Food and service Amazing.
Lots of businesses take requests, which means they don't want to say NO to anything you asked for, even though they know it's a NO. They do this so you think you will get what you want and when you get there you put up with it. We flew to Sydney from Melbourne for our 25th anniversary and we could only eat at Aria's if we had an early dinner, plus we requested a window table. When I rang to check if we had a window table, I was told their policy only take requests............meaning they won't say Yes, or NO. They expect people to pay several hundred dollars, tollerate early dinners which are at 5pm and there's no one to complain to, if you wish to complain. I cancelled!!
hey its matt moran so your expecting the best and it delivered. Food was mouth watering and the ambience was great. Service was top class as you would expect at restaurant of this calibre.
Matt Moran doesn't fail in the food he prepares.....Everything that was brought out was delicious and meticulous in detail. Cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The huge range of wines, spirit and cocktails was overwhelming. The service was very friendly and they paid close attention to us so we can enjoy our meal. It was very expensive BUT to go at least once for a special occasion is definitely worth it!
Approximate cost: $50
Food taste good, exceptional staff, good value for the quality of the meal. I would not give 5 stars normally. However, with a killer view like this, it's mad not enough to 1. dine here, 2. give them 5 stars.
You should most definitely take your loved ones here. Best pre-show dinner in city probs.
A Matt Moran signature restaurant with views directly of the Opera House. Food is modern Australian cuisine beautifully presented.
Food, is excellent i had a steak which was cooked to perfection my partner had a fish with crispy skin, it too was thought to be excellent. Atmosphere is very good. Service outstanding
Approximate cost: $39.00
It's Superb!
I had high expectations for Aria but personally found it a tad disappointing. The view of the harbour is amazing but I found the food so-so. It was nice but not wow. I think other fine dining places in Sydney are able to offer more creative, imaginative dishes for similar prices.
Had high expectations but was left feeling a bit flat. Food, service and view of the harbour was great but didn't live up to the hype.
Amazing!!! Love love love aria!! When we
travel to Sydney we always treat ourselves to a dinner here. It's sooo beautiful, expensive but worth every dollar
Approximate cost: $30
I went here for a pre-theatre meal. The food was delicious and the wait-staff were present without being annoying. They have a sommelier to recommend the perfect wine for your meal, and the selection was spot-on. I'd try to reserve a table near the window but away from the darling harbour side as several of these have a great view of a concrete pylon! Absolutely perfect for a special occasion meal :)
Approximate cost: $60
3 hat restaurant - what else can you expect?
Absolutely delicious food, served in a restaurant with a stunning location & view.
I booked for a table of 16, with their pre-theatre set menu, so price wasn't too high pp. Waiters were a little pushy with one of my friends who had come in late and only wanted to order dessert.
10% gratuity automatically added with group bookings.
Approximate cost: $90
One word, perfection. I don't see how a dining experience could be better. The food was beyond belief, the Service staff were mind readers and the locations is unbeatable. There's two down sides to going to Aria in Sydney. 1) it's not cheap but that's to be expected 2) You may find all fin dining experiences there after a little disappointing
Approximate cost: $500
The best dining experience in Sydney. Service is faultless, food is delicious, position is of course amazing. Have also had work functions here and they have run like clockwork. The pork belly entree is to die for!
Approximate cost: $40
An unbelievable night. Service was top and food was delicious. The view was spectacular and i had a fantastic time. The staff were so friendly and remembered little details from when i booked like it was my anniversary. It was a nice touch them coming and saying happy anniversary at the end of the night.
Approximate cost: $50
The customer service sounds so nice! Can't wait to go.
