I enjoyed designing our new front solid cedar door with a glass and wrought iron panel with Phillip, who provided sound advice on the best timber to use in the panels to create a door that enhances our home. Expensive and we had a long wait for the iron work, but beautifully made and fitted door, frame and sill, by Shane. No more gaps with icy cold or hot winds blowing through, very happy with it.

Last year Armadale Doors & Leadlight straightened the very crooked front doorway of our Victorian-era cottage and replaced the door which had been damaged beyond repair. We continue to be happy with the work they did. This company were very reliable and prompt in all of our interactions with them. After obtaining 5 quotes, we settled for Armadale Doors & Leadlight to do the work because although they were on the expensive side, our interactions with them gave us confidence that they could handle what was far from a straight-forward door replacement. I am glad that we chose Armadale Doors to do the work as the money was well spent. Having extensively renovated our Victorian-era home and encountered many trades people, both good and bad, I would rate Armadale Doors as definitely amongst the best in my experience.

Not cheap but you can bring your design to them or let them design for you. We had a very special design made for a very old door that needed replacing, these guys were able to remove the old glass and without damaging placed it in our new doors..very happy with their skill of something so fragile and precious to us.
