I'm afraid that my experience with Malvern Family & Women's Clinic hasn't been quite as good as the other reviews here. While the service was great (a text to remind me of my appointment, a very nice nurse who took my details), the doctor wasn't so helpful.

She disregarded the information that I gave her and ordered a test to be done for a condition that I already knew and told her wasn't the problem. When I returned for my follow-up visit, the only advice I got was that nothing was wrong with me. I wasn't offered further help or even medication to help with the symptoms that I was suffering from.

As you may guess, this left me a little upset. At least it meant that I had to find a different doctor (which I did) who would help me (which she has!).

Fantastic doctors, lovely practice. Sometimes hard to get a quick appointment & can wait for a long time, but waiting room is pleasant & stocked with mags, staff are friendly and most importantly I trust the doctors there.

I have been going to this clinic for over ten year - I keep going there no matter where I move to. I always see Dr. Lapin, and find her genuinely caring and compassionate, and takes time to listen to what you have to say.

Thorough and show real care in understanding your health concerns. Appointments are held at the time booked rather than being called in more than 20 minutes after appointment time like other places.

I know 8 people who go to these doctors. We all see different doctors and all feel our respective Doctors are the best. They are Genuine, compassionate and thorough.

I've been using the clinic since 1998 (after being referred by a friend who travels from Point Cook to use the Clinic). I live in Nunawading and still travel to Armadale as I tried GP's in my local area but did not have the same confidence as I did in the GP's at Malvern Women's Clinic. I have found them to be understanding and will take the time to listen to you and your problems.

Great female Doctors, who are very proactive, and supportive. They share a lot of information, and take the time to get to know you.
