We happened to be looking for a late lunch and when we rang at 2pm, we thought they'd say the kitchen was closed. Happily the kitchen is open all day long and we were the only diners in an establishment that seats hundreds.

Garlic bread arrives for free at the table while you check out the meats on display in the refrigerated cabinet. You can choose from huge steaks, eye fillet, lobster, fish and other seafoods.

When your meal arrives, you can't help but feel very special! Every meal is presented like a platter. I had the prawn and avocado salad which was accompanied by crunchy chips and a big salad of fresh vegetables. We also ordered the rump steak and bugs (one and a half whole bugs) which was HUGE.

We ordered a side of mushroom gravy for the chips which was absolutely enormous and DELICIOUS!!! In fact, it could have been the highlight of the meal!

The chef himself served the steak at the table.

The decor is a little tired but who cares? When you get a huge meal like this, presented so well and for such reasonable prices (massive rump with 1.5 MB bugs, chips and salad for $42), no one should complain.

Good quality seafood, very quick service this is quiet a large restaurant so if you are looking for an intimate dinner I don't think it is the place but for those that don't mind the crowd this place is great and the meals are huge

We've been here Trillions of times!, and NEVER have they failed to please! The meals are fabulously tasty and BIG!, Great atmosphere at Ashmore Steak & Seafood, definitely "feels" like a night out with always lots of people enjoying the great food!

i have eaten many times at this restaurant and only once they forgot my order for a long time but made up for it buy taking the jug of soft-drink of the bill. Staff are great and the meals are huge, so huge you have to get a container to take home, which means no waste.

Have been 3 times, the first was by far the best.
Good value for money, but the last two times the food was not as good as the first time, still acceptable by not mind blowing, I'll try at least once more.
Perfect place if you had an extremely large gathering.

Absolutely amazing food and really great staff. A friendly atmosphere and even with the huge size of it and number of huge conferences/groups they have, they can still cater to everyone's needs.

We've been eating there for many years now and just love how huge the place is. The meals are also in big portions so you can share. They separate an area for families with kids so we don't have to worry about the kids being a bother to other customers as much. They also give you free garlic bread which keep the kids happy until the food arrives.

I really love this place! Not only is the atmosphere comfortable but the service is great as well. In addition to this the food is delicious and the meal size is generous. My family and I go here for all special occasions.

We love eating here, its great value for money & the meals are huge! They are kiddy friendly & if you cant eat it all, they will even give you a doggy bag!

Have Dined many times,the staff are fantastic ,service is great & you always get value for money.
Good sized meals,certainly not for the petite diners although they do serve small meals.
Check out the Xmas Day Buffet Lunch & you will never worry about slaving over a hot stove again,& best of all no cleaning up.
