If I'm sending you my resume for a 'Free Skills Assessment', what I expect is a personalised assessment, and not to receive an extremely generic reply that contains not only spelling errors, but incorrect pricing (website has cheaper price than email). If your organisation is going to train me in investigations of any type, expect me to raise my eyebrows when I find errors in your own communications back to me. I also am not going to fork out money for RPL based on a generic reply that you haven't proof read anyway, then pay $440 per course I can't RPL, when you haven't even given me any direction on which courses I can RPL, and what is required, then tell me it's not refundable. Refund policies are inconsistent anyway.

I was due to take the 2nd last day of training when the trainer Andy Lowry caught covid and was not available for class, so the training days were swapped. They notified everybody via e-mail about the new class on a Sunday, but after 1-week of intensive classes, I was out in the country Sunday / Monday to take a break where there was no cell signal (I was exempt from the Monday First Aid Class because I already have a certificate) . I did not find out until Tuesday morning that everybody had been e-mailed that the new class was schedule to take place on Monday, instead of Tuesday and Tuesday was going to be the First Aid Class instead of Monday. So on Monday the class was defence tactics, which would originally have been on Tuesday.
I live in Noosa Heads and Asset College is in North Lakes. I have spent a considerable amount of time, money and effort on this course. It will be 2-weeks before I can return to North Lakes from Noosa Heads. Once again I will need to set time in my schedule, pay for accommodation and prepare to take a simple class.

There should have been a backup trainer to continue the class schedule as normal. This was not my fault and I want to let everyone know of the shady tactics these people used.

They -

1 - Tried to avoid responsibility for their actions and make me look like it was my fault.

2 - They were unable to answer my question posed to them over phone. It finally took a supervisor to have my question answered.

3 - I now have to re-schedule time and money to take the last course.
