Lovely restaurant. I can see why it commands such a high pricetag and has survived in the game at this level for so long. I cannot recall observing any faults. Everything, from the food, waiter service, dining surroundings etc, were perfect.

We booked 2 months in advance for a Saturday dinner booking. Parking was available on the street or on the side streets. Majority of them were 2 hour spots, however because we arrived in the evening, we were able to park there for the rest of the night.

We had the 8 course menu which was the default choice for weekend bookings. I can understand why many would think the money isn't quite worth what was served. One course was of cucumbers and another was a potato. And I admit even I had to justify what it was that we were paying for; the fresh ingredients from the restaurants own garden, the techniques and combination of elements to create each dish. Many of the dishes had very interesting combinations of ingredients that would not have made sense logically but in the tasting palette it somehow did work together.

The customer service was impeccable here. Although it did feel a little strange that they walked you to the restrooms and waited around for you to finish. All the serving staff presented each dish and even advised how it was best eaten. It was also a nice touch where they take the group to the garden to view where the produce comes from.

Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. But I'd probably save this for special occasions only.

Decided to come here for our weekly date night out as we wanted to do something special. Overall it didn't really hit the mark for me. I guess considering the price and hype I was expecting a little more. I did enjoy the white chocolate and salted caramel eggs which come presented on a bed of grass! This was the highlight of the night for me.

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. An unusal location away from other top restaurants. Pretty easy to park & locate though.
We went on a Saturday night so had to have the 8 course degustation (which is what I wanted)
The service is very professional & the food is spectacular sarting off with 2 types of freshly made bread & 2 types of home made butter delish.
All of the 8 courses were outstanding & the techniques used were outstanding. My favourite courses were the snow crab,the terrior,the violet crumble. Just thinking about these dishes makes my mouth water.
Highly recommend his restaurant if you want a top dining experience

I had booked the Chef's Table Tasting for about 2 months in advance, and I was expecting great things. We were, however, slightly disappointed. I felt that the five course menu that we were served was not much above average. We started with Meredith's Goats cheese rolled into balls with a cold cucumber soup, all the flavours were yummy but was extermely simple and one dimensional. We then had a Virginia Rose Potato, steamed and filled with a smoked trout type mousse. This was something we would both not like to eat again. The third course was our favourite, Dried and raw Wagyu with white onion puree and watercress. We then had a piece of grilled whiting with radish and akohl rabi, i really felt this was far too simple for what you pay. We finished off with Coffee soaked sponge cake with some chocolate and ice cream. Everything we ate that night was cooked well but nothing had a WOW factor. I will definately go back on a normal night sometime soon.

I had the textured cauliflower with horsradish as part of the vegetarian tasting menu and enjoyed it. Sophisticated restaurant with a menu that does change frequently. Vegetarian options are fantastic. There is a great vibe about this place and it is very popular.
