I contacted Aussie Share Sales on 10th April needing information on selling my shares. They were very helpful with the questions I asked. I listed the shares with them that day on line which was a very easy process. The shares were sold the next day (Friday) and the funds were in my account this last Wednesday. The brokerage fees I thought were very reasonable. I dont have any more shares to sell but would use them again if I did.
Aussie Share Sales delivered on their promise-the transaction was straight forward, the identity checks comprehensive but all manageable from your device, and the funds were remitted quickly.
They rang when I had trouble with ID photos, and went through process very efficiently. Had terrible trouble getting any action from Link market Services, and 2 month wait from them to change the name of the holding, despite paperwork being sent and emailed. Once that was done, Aussie Share Sales sold the shares within a few days before Christmas. It was more expensive than expected but so much easier and efficient.

Selling shares on behalf of my brother was a relatively easy process. We did have some difficulty with the photograph ID, maybe it was my laptop but I found it very sensitive to centre the image. Just to clarify, $1,400 was roughly the value of the shares sold. Aussie Share Sales brokerage charged for the transaction was $195 + 0.5% of the value of the holdings, as advertised on our website.
