Visited Aussie World for the first time this weekend, not quite sure what to expect! Boy, were we in for a surprise! There is so much hidden away behind those gates!! We arrived at 9am not realizing that the rides don't start until 10. Not a problem though, you are able to visit the game zone and play a round of mini golf. There are so many rides in here including a huge variety for toddlers. On the day we went two of the rides were closed for maintenance but this wasn't an issue as there were still so many other rides for us to enjoy. The day we visited was very hot! There is not much shade in this park, so please wear a hat and sunscreen. The website says no outside food or drink but I brought in a drink bottle for each of us and a banana. Lucky I did, as drinks here are $4.5 each!! Unfortunately, there are no water fountains to refill your bottles. Lunch cost us $60 for 2 adults and 2 kids - nothing fancy just the usual takeaway stuff. I saw a few families bring in cooler bags (which the website said wasn't allowed). Speaking to other families in the park, apparently it is common to leave the esky in the car - go out to the carpark to enjoy your homemade lunch and then come back in afterwards. We bought a pass on arrival for $12 to play 3 games in sideshow alley. Otherwise, you pay $5 per game once inside. Overall, we all had a really enjoyable day. Will definitely be coming back soon :)
Brilliant theme park, great pub even if they had to change the name now ,bit sad that. Cant miss it on the bruce highway. Lots of rides and cheaper than movieworld and less crowded.lots of,shops. Australia day here is brilliant woth the dunny races. We took the kids and got all day ride passes for about $30. Plenty of food and things to look at. Plenty of parking close by
Did some souvenir shopping in the Aussie World Shop, one of my favourite stops when in Qld for presents for family and friends back home. The selection of Hats is amazing, wonderful display of Ettamogagh pub themed items, fantastic range of souvenirs. A must stop place when in Qld.
Approximate cost: $varies
I will always love Aussie world though lately it has become lacking, its become overpriced but I still love all of the rides. The bumper cars are my favourite
took my child to aussie world he quite enjoyed it however was a little disappointed that he was too small for many of the rides, more for little kids to do is needed and water play areas. The meals were very big and worth what you spend on them. a good day out.
Approximate cost: $50
not a bad day out yes quite a few rides for kids but not many for the adults, meals are quite big, more water play areas needed, more shaded areas needed
Opening time is advertised as 9am, but rides do not start until 10am. Then only one staff member to run the four young kiddies rides for about half an hour, which resulted in a long time spent in lines and frustrated staff. It was a very expensive exercise for me as we had to leave at 11 due to daughter's midday sleep, so I wouldn't have taken them there if I had realised the rides wouldn't start until later. Also very few healthy options in the cafe.
Thanks for sharing your experince!
This is a great place to take the kids on the holidays they will have lots of fun. The family went the other day we all had a great time
Range of rides for kids, a little bit limited for adults. Would benefit from a waterslide or some water activities. Multi pass allows unlimited rides during the day. Not much shelter around rides though, make sure you take a hat and sunscreen. Good outing for whole family though that is still on the Sunny Coast.
Approximate cost: $20-$25
