I decided to try this new place when I was in desperate need for a massage.
How stoked was I when I was told they had a half price special for both hour and half hour massages. This meant that after my health fund rebate, it cost me nothing, and that's with the most basic extras healthcover available.
Bec, who was my massage therapist was lovely and gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. She concentrated on the areas I was having trouble with and also gave me stretching exercises to do after my massage was over.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Will definitely be going back!
Have recently started ordering wine through this Site and am very impressed with the really cheap wine we have managed to purchase over the last couple of months.
My only issue has been delivery which I think has more to do with the courier service they use. One lot of wine took 2 weeks to be delivered, even though the delivery period indicated on website was 3 to 5 days. When I sent an email to Grays asking about delay, someone did respond almost straight away and followed it up but I didn't get an explanation why delivery took so long.
Other than this, am very happy and will continue to order through Grays!
This place is unbelievable! There's a real WOW factor as soon as you walk in the foyer.
The resort is positioned on the beach with many of the rooms getting a view of the sea. There are 2 beautiful pools with deck chairs surrounding them. The coffee shop/bar is positioned close to the pool and a waiter will bring drinks and food to you meaning you can laze around the pool for as long as you like.
The resort also has a tennis court, gym and hires bikes which we took advantage of.
The room we stayed in had a lovely kitchenette, kingsize bed and a spa bath. It was spacious and vey clean.
What I liked most about our stay was the bargain we received for a 2 night stay! If you stay in off peak time, you can get something for about half the price of what you would normally pay!
Oh, and the staff were wonderful. Could not fault this place!
Approximate cost: $300 for 2 nights
I just recently opened an ING Orange Everyday account to take advantage of the 5 percent rebate you get on purchases under $100 when you use pay wave and couldn't be happier!
It took me 5-10 minutes to open it online, and I received my debit Visa card in the mail a week later. I loved that I could pick my own pin for my card and my own access code for Internet banking. I had to ring up with a question about my account recently and the service I received was fantastic
I have already received $10 in rebate in 1 week, so I am one very happy customer. There are no account keeping fees either.
Do yourself a favour and visit the ING website for more details.
We went here for Sunday lunch and was really impressed with the open layout of the place. There's also a really nice atmosphere as you walk through to the bistro.
I recently became a member for a low $5.50 membership fee and was really impressed to receive a $30 voucher to spend at the bistro in the mail along with my new membership card.
I couldn't fault the service we received. Quick and friendly! The food on the other hand I found to be pretty ordinary, although quite reasonably priced. $5 for a glass of Rosemount Sav Blanc was also good value.
We definitely will return. Maybe try a night when they have some entertainment.
My husband and I stayed here over 2 nights to celebrate my 50th Birthday.
There is a real 'Wow' factor about this place. The cafe/restaurant is an old church with wooden beams and floor boards and gorgeous lead light windows. We didn't eat here unfortunately, but the smells as we walked through the door were unbelievable.
The cottage we stayed in was small, but comfortable. The bathroom had a large spa which was much appreciated after a long drive. I was disappointed there were no cooking facilities at all, and the bar fridge was especially small.
The view of the surrounding hills was beautiful, and the gardens were immaculate. I would definitely recommend this place as a romantic retreat.
Will come back here and try the restaurant next time!
Approximate cost: $230 per night
Stopped here on the way home from Toowoomba, and was expecting to purchase fresh local product. Instead we bought fruit and veggies that were old and tasteless.
Like a previous reviewer, we bought pumpkin which went off very quickly and had to throw it out. We were expecting the strawberries we bought to be sweet and flavoursome but were tasteless.
Pricewise, it was a little cheaper than our local fruit barn, but the quality certainly wasn't there.
Visited this place last week for coffee and cake, and was blown away by the great food and service.
Even though it was very busy, our food and drink were served in minutes, and the quality really good. My daughter had blueberry muffin with custard in the middle which was to die for.
They have a very extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and are fully licensed, so will be back with my husband.
Oh, and you have lovely views of the water when you sit outside!
Approximate cost: $13
Being a beautiful sunny Sunday, I expected to have a long wait when we walked into this pub for lunch. Instead, we ordered straight away and was served our meals within 10 minutes.
The meals we ordered were huge. We could have easily have shared 1 meal between the 2 of us. My husband had the salt and pepper squid which he said was really nice. The pumpkin, feta and pine nut salad was nice, although a little light on the feta.
We were lucky enough to be entertained by a country singer who had performed at he Caboolture urban festival the day before. She was FANTASTIC! I would have paid to hear her sing.
Would highly recommend this place. Can't wait to return!
Approximate cost: $40
I walk past this place often, and as it is always busy, decided to give it a try.
As soon as we walked in, I heard someone talk to a waiter about how long they'd been waiting for their coffee, so knew straightaway we would have a wait ourselves.
I must admit, if I hadn't been there with my mum, who is extremely patient, I would have walked out. We only ordered coffee and muffins and still hadn't got them after nearly alf an hour. Although the coffee was quite good, the waiter wasn't friendly at all and didn't apologise for the wait either.
The view from this spot is lovely, but I don't think I'll come back here.
