Good centre. But they need to do something about the homeless, it really makes you feel uneasy / unsafe
Getting better now that it’s being renovated. Was getting very old and tacky otherwise. But many new shops and improvements it’s actually a good choice for locals now
A nice place to shop but it needs other stores such as Target. But having said that, there is a varity of other shops and a good food court overlooking the Broad Water and the atmosphere is pleasent.
I went here while holidaying on the gold coast. I found it to be not to big but also not to small. It has lots of stores to browse through as well as plenty of choices in the food court. Most of the stores were reasonably priced and all were very clean and well set out. The staff at the customer service desk were very helpful and quite informative.
Now that Australia Fair is my local shopping centre I quite enjoy going there. It is quiter than all those other busy ones which are always crowded. There is always a bargin to be had at Aus Fair and they have a few unique shops too.
When I am visiting relatives in Qld I quite like going to this shopping centre. It has been around a long time.
There is quite a lot of different types of stores here.
Shopped here recently while on holidays. Plenty of choice with specialty shops plus variety stores and supermarket. Not too busy either. Will shop here again.
Approximate cost: $varies
This centre is quite dated compared to others on the Gold Coast, however compared to some on the Sunshine coast it is quite good. There is a good range of run-of-the-mill retailers, however if you are looking for boutique shopping this is not your destination. With 2 supermarkets, 2 food courts, Kmart, a cinema (with discounted rates), Sams warehouse, several homewares shops, many jewellery stores and fashion retailers this centre is ideal for someone looking for that special item of jewellery, everyday clothes, or to see a movie.
I quite enjoy shopping at Australia Fair, not too busy, plenty of variety & friendly staff throughout the different stores. The only thing I don't like is having to cross the street to locate only a minute amount of stores. Overall though, quite a good shopping centre and parking is free if less than 4 hours or if you see a movie!
Attempted to shop here recently while on holidays to gold coast. Unfortunately couldn't even get a car park as all the carparks were full and after driving around for a while looking for a park we left and went elsewhere.
