I visited the Hollywood Costume exhibition last week and I thought it was fantastic.
It was $19.90 to enter per adult which I thought was a bit steep, but to be expected.
You must put bags and coats etc into the coat room (compulsory) which is fine but their was a ridiculously long queue for this, which was annoying because if you are going to make people do this the least you could do would be to put on a sufficient amount of staff.

The exhibition itself was very good.
The costumes are fantastic and accompanying many if the more modern pieces was a video from the director and designer talking about the design / structure etc.

Definetly recommended. Maybe not take smaller children though!

fantastic architecture, ambience, coffee, staff and exhibitions.

took our kids to see the permanent exhibition.. really interesting history of motion pictures, web, animation and a huge collection of movies. various how they did it segments, very multilayered experience. Comfy sit down spots for parents and plenty of helpful staff.. a lot of dual games and big screens, and historically interesting stuff from the early days of pc's and the web.

go and see...

Approximate cost: $regular
