Has anyone got their deposit back from this company? They also took deposit from me and never came back to do the job.

Avoid this company. Paid a deposit and did not get the works done. Large range of excuses. Called and emailed many times, without anyone getting back to me. Still have damages to my property and no heating and cooling since May

Avoid this company at all costs. Came out and advised we needed a new unit. Paid deposit on Credit Card and that was the last we saw of them. They stopped communicating with us and didn't reschedule a time to deliver the unit. Excuses ranged from illness, over seas travel, too hot, too cold, raining , cloudy, expected rain, too busy. Still waiting to receive refund.

They (1800coolfix aka Australian mechanical services) quoted a price to fix a broken heater and a/c unit then took a deposit of 2,500 for the work. Th parts didn't come in on time so we mutually agreed to cancel the job and they promised to refund the 2,500 deposit. 3 months later, I call them every day and still no refund. I can't believe these guys. Do not give them your credit card! Avoid.

We have completed work for this company but have never been paid. It was important to them job was completed urgently so they could be paid by their client, 3 months later we are still not able to contact them, they have lied to us, e.g. chq in the mail stuff. Very unsatisfactory and dishonest. Would not recommend

Australian Mechanical Services (1800 Cool Fix) came out to see what was wrong with our ducted heating, which had stopped working. Unfortunately the entire heater had to be replaced along with the thermostat, but Mike arranged for this to happen a few days after he came out to our house.

There was a $220 call out fee which I was happy to pay, and the cost of the entire new heater was $3,200. All are working beautifully, just in time for winter.
