I have now dealt with this [Bayswater] business twice. The first time to install a Reversing Camera, and the second to replace and install a multi-function car radio into my Getz.
My first visit was simply to enquire about the types of [suitable] Reversing Cameras and an approximate cost for installation. Unfortunately, the young salesperson I spoke to at that time was not overly knowledgeable, but I did walk away with a better idea of what I could buy and the total cost.
When I returned the second time, I was directed to another [older] salesperson who actually did know about the products and I was happy to organise the purchase and install there and then.
I was given a booking date, time and an approximate time-frame for the installation.
All went well. I was very pleased with the quality of the installation—very professional!
Based on the standard of customer service and the quality of the install, I returned some months later to have my [inoperable] car radio replaced.
Once again the person I spoke to was very knowledgeable about car radios and I was given an installation cost. (Same booking process as for the reverse camera.)
Unfortunately, the given install time-frame was longer than I had been advised. I was told that the installer was experiencing unforseen difficulties; I could live with that.
Any disappointment I felt because of the delay was easily dismissed by me because of the actual installation—it 'exceeded' my expectations. Once again, to my (fussy) mind, the install was also excellent!
In both cases, the end result was that I felt these installations could have been viewed as 'factory standard'.
I would definitely recommend this [Bayswater] company should you require a reverse camera, or multi-function car radio installed at reasonable cost.
