This place we found to be the cheapest restaurant on Southbank! and the busiest, expect to be in a long queue on a Sat night but it has a good variety of foods and moody ambience and a good view of the gas torches lining southbank

Approximate cost: $25

Reasonable place to eat with a very decent pizza menu (if you aren't coming here for the pizza you may as well eat somewhere else!). The pizzas are tasty enough - not the best you'll ever have but far from the worst. Excellent location and good prices. Service can sometimes be on the slow side but they're friendly enough.

Truly a great place to dine at whilst at Crown. Its a laid back restaurant with friendly staff who are very efficient and greet you warmly when attending to your table.

There is a good range of meals, my personal favourite are the wood oven pizzas topped with so many delicious gourmet ingredients.

The sister cafe to The Blue Train was a great place to be. After the sale of Blue Train this was the only cafe style place left owned by the guys who started Joe's Garage. It's got a nice buzz and kind of cool effect going on. The food is ok but not great as any cafe style dining is. The waiters are fun and buzzing around on coffee 'high's' !! Do it a least once...

You must be here and have a table when the Crown fires go off on the hour, you'll have front row seats from your table and you'll even feel the heat on your face! I love this place in summer as the sun goes down. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable for this side of town. The ambience is brilliant out side on a balmy evening and you cannot beat that Crown fire show to impress your date! The service is sometimes a little slow and sometimes meals don't come out together but it's never really hindered me in going back. But it definitely is more of a summer hang out for me.

Approximate cost: $15 - $25

Nice food, friendly staff not much more to ask for. The experience is great because of the nice surroundings of southbank.

The best thing about this place was our waiter. He was entertaining, made us smile and gave us great smile- wish there were more waiters like him. Food was standard cafe style. Pizzas were ok. My ice chocolate was actually one of the best I have had.

Eaten here quite a bit at various times of the day. The food is consistently great & I've always found the service to be really good! Funky restaurant, relaxed atmosphere, great location & reasonably priced.

fantastic feeling for the City, food fantastic and the steaks are cook 100% the way i like them every time. my partner and i love the place. At night sitting outside you get the feel of the gas heaters on south bank and the night life. inside is two levels of sitting area. the people are friendly and always there to help you. Adding and changes can be made without hesitation.

We have been here about six times in the last year. It's a great place to grab a bite and a beer before an evening out or to take the kids at lunchtime. The pizza's are pretty good and the rest of the menu is pretty staple but well prepared.

Approximate cost: $20
