Very friendly family owned business. Teenage staff on the weekend are the friendliest, tidiest teenagers you can come across. Very refreshing compared to the "insincere" friendliness you come across in many multinational organisations. If all the other local stores have run out of weekend papers, try Avonsleigh.

Sam is a friendly, switched on operator and has made this shop a one stop for most weekend items. He has all the magazines, newspapers with the freebies still available in the afternoon. Not many shops bother with this service. His selection of alcohol is excellent and the prices are competitive. The shop is clean and well spaced with good parking

A little country shop that we've had for many many years and the selection keeps getting better. They now sell liquor as well as a wide variety of magazines and newspapers and general groceries - not to mention the selection of chocolate and sweets!
