It was my first time visiting B Revived in Brighton as I wanted somewhere local to treat myself to a mini pamper rather than doing my own shellac at home. I booked a $40 manicure using OPI gel. After having to ask the therapist to view the color selection, which was limited, I was seated at a small table right beside the front door of the shop. After requesting a good tidy up of my cuticles, the therapist pushed them back & after using what seemed to have been blunt cuticle clippers, left them untrimmed & messy & continued on to then 'hide' them with polish. I had selected a dark blue & by the end of the 1st coat, I had polish stains all over my fingers/hands from the therapists rubber gloves that kept getting in the way. They took the gloves off by the 2nd coat but it made little difference to the sloppy application. They 'tidied' up the stains, I paid the $40 & left. Later that afternoon, I was further disappointed when the gel started lifting from my nails & also chipping/flaking off around my cuticles from where the therapist had covered them up. This left a rough & crooked edge which was clearly visible. I have had many shellac & gel manicures in the past, that were less expensive & both in salons & at home, but this was by far the most disappointing. I can't say I'd recommend B Revived or revisit. Feeling regretful & not at all revived.

Trading Faces is a great little find in Brighton. Fantastic, relaxing treatments and the staff are great - no pressure to purchase. I will be going back again for sure!

Fantastic! A really relaxing little beauty salon. The therapist used a combination of Dermalogica products on my skin and I could see the results straight away. A very enjoyable, relaxing pamper session - PURE BLISS! Products were recommended to me but I didn't feel pressured into making any purchase. I'll go back for sure!
