I now have two kiddies and after doing the usual rounds to other places for clothes and toys and other paraphernalia, I have come to realise that all my purchases from baby bunting have been good quality and at very competitive prices. All the ladies are friendly and helpful, and offer to help take things out to the car which is a life saver sometimes. The train setup for the toddlers has been a welcome relief on a rainy day and allows for a little bit of peaceful shopping. The store is not very large compared to others in the same chain, but they pack a heck of a lot into this store, it never ceases to amaze me that they always have whatever it is I am looking for!!! If they dont then they are always happy to order it in for me.

With a young baby, I have visited and purchased from Baby Bunting in Balwyn numerous times. In general I have found their range of stock to be great, the service to be helpful and informative and the prices to be as expected. They have sales on a regular basis, so you can pick up some bargains. If you visit at a busy time, I have found it difficult to get some assistance. But, once you have found someone to help you, they are always willing to spend the time with you to find the right product.

I have had a very negative experience with the car seat fitter 'Baby on Board' that operates out of Baby Bunting Balwyn. I had booked my in for my baby seat to be fitted and after arriving a few minutes late to a guy lazing back in the back of his van playing with his phone,he refused to fit the seat a I was late and he was busy (playing with his phone). I was very sincerely sorry and explained after driving all the way from Brighton I would really appreciate it if he could keep my appointment and he replied sorry I am too busy. He clearly was not busy so I went into the store and spoke to the manager who also could not have cared less.
I was so disappointed with the service, not only would I expect such a business to be understanding of the difficulty in keep to strict appointments with two young kids but they were more than happy for me to walk away with a car seat that had not been securely fitted.
If you need a car seat fitted do not choose Baby Bunting/Baby on Board if you expect courteous service or staff that actually care about the safety of your children.

These guys are always so very helpful. We bought almost all our baby gear from here - we had no idea as we were first time parents but they never made us feel stupid or snigger at our questions. It seems like a small store but they cram a lot of stuff in there. The guys out the back are also excellent, helping you get things into your car.

They are often very busy but they never rush you - it is good to have a little patience to wait your turn as it will pay off.

There is a car park out the back which is much easier than parking on Burke road.
