I had my brake pads replaced at Bailey’s. The service here was impeccable. They fit me in the same day I made the enquiry, the vehicle was ready within 3 hours and the cost was better than reasonable! Very professional. Would highly recommend this business to anyone.

Recently had major brake failure with our family car and needed work done immediately due to having a heavily pregnant partner and children that rely on the car to get to school and rugby.
The major work was carried out the same day we contacted Baileys and was booked in a few days later for some non critical work as well. We found the staff honest and up front and easy to talk with.
Parts replaced:
-REAR ROTORS (supplied)
-pads front and rear
-Park brake drum pads
-brake fluid flush
-rear calliper rebuild
Around 5-6 hours labour.

Will definitely recommend B.B.a.C to anyone that needs an honest mechanic around Ipswich.
I'd take my vehicles there again for sure.

Just had my Transit in to have the clutch replaced. The guys had it finished on time, clean and within the quote. Drives perfectly and I couldn't be happier. It's a working vehicle with 330,000 km in 4 years so I usually look after my own repairs. I wasn't in a position to do this one (a pig of a job) so Baileys got it in urgently and completed it in the one day... very impressed customer here!!!

Once again Michael and his team at Baileys have done a fabulous job of repairs on my car. They previously did work with my brake pads and disc rotors earlier this year in March (see my previous review below). This time they replaced my water pump and gasket, top hose housing seal and gasket, rear shock absorbers and new intake plenum gaskets for a great price all including labour, delivery charges etc. Hubby had first taken my car with his one to Midas, West Ipswich a month or so beforehand as they were doing repairs on his car and he took my car in at the same time for a basic service (he was trying to kill two birds with one stone). Long story short, whatever work they did on my car felt a bit dodgy as when I got my car back it would kind of 'jump' a bit upon braking and just felt like something was 'loose' when I drove around (my car didn't do any of that beforehand). Midas also said that I needed to have my engine mounts replaced as well as the water pump and shock absorbers. So when I took my car in to Baileys Brake & Clutch for them to have a look at and confirm what repairs were needed (which they didn't charge me for) they said I didn't need to worry about the engine mounts and only needed the water pump and rear shock absorbers etc replaced so they saved me a lot of $$$. Michael also saved me over $300 on the water pump as I have a Holden Lumina and when he rang Holden dealers to get me a replacement pump they wanted approx $400 for a new one. Michael managed to get me a new one from the CBD for $75! Once again superior service from Baileys Brake & Clutch Specialists who go out of their way to save me money rather than milk more $$$ out of me. I don't write many reviews but knowing how hard it is to find trustworthy mechanics these days especially for females, I have no hesitation in writing a thorough one to help people out who just want a trusty mechanic to do an honest job on their car and not to add 'extra' repairs on when totally unnecessary.

I have had Baileys service my car for over 10 years. The experience, cost and service is exceptional. I would recommend Baileys to everyone for the service, brake expertise and loyalty to their customers.

Firstly, thanks to the previous reviews I found these guys! Great service, fit me in straight away and got the job done in less time than what was expected. Needed all brake pads replaced and discs machined as well (it was pretty bad, had got to the point where metal was grinding on metal and a tinny sound emanating from the back when just driving around without braking)...parking light bulb was also replaced. Was quoted $659 elsewhere to get the work done and Baileys initially quoted $550 but overall cost me just under $530. Am happy to report that all has been fixed, no sound whatsoever, car feels nice and safe. Can't thank these guys enough for getting the work done so quickly and efficiently, would recommend these guys to anyone.

Over a period of years Baileys have rectified sometimes difficult problems with our cars, the work is always completed in the time allocated and in a competent and skilled manner without undue expense or nasty surprises.
Baileys are amongst the best in their knowledge of mechanical matters, I am grateful for their completion of my often difficult repairs beyond brakes and clutches.
For two of our cars, disc brake pad replacements for less than costs quoted elsewhere.
Nissan oil leak was quoted by Dealer as maybe $300 repair, when I went to Baileys for a quote Gordon identified and fixed the problem in minutes, and for free!
Our Honda was in for master cylinder overhaul, car stopped when I was driving out, would not restart, Baileys took car back into workshop for some hours, went thru messy wiring, diagnosed and fixed problem, no extra charge.
On another of our cars, timing belt and all other belts replaced for half of Dealer quote! Same day, bizarre engine noise diagnosed correctly.
Hey, as a hobby these guys build and run top line dragsters, of course they can repair our street cars more professionally than the average workshop!

This is the very best place for a vehicle service. The work is always undertaken in a professional manner, and the prices are reasonable. They also have a spare parts section for the home mechanic.

I live on the north side of Brisbane but always bring my car to Baileys brake and clutch at Bundamba because I know I can trust them to do a great job. Friendly staff and fairly priced.

These guys are located over the road from our mechanics, and when more specialised attention is needed for our car, they are always highly recommended. Top service, high quality workmanship and friendly, knowledgeable staff who explained technical words in layman's terms. We've had nothing but positive interaction with then.
