I love mexican food, and these guys make quick, healthy take away that has lots of flavour. I usually have the full size burrito with shredded beef, salad, rice and avocado. The mini is filling enough if you are not overly hungry.

Originally Cafe Urbano, the new Form 7even makes even better coffees, and is a very popular spot for weekend brunch. My favourite is the iced coffee - it looks like a dessert when it comes out - in a jam jar topped with ice cream, cream and coffee beans. Yum! They also offer lunch during the week and dinner friday and saturday nights. Kid friendly with lots of high chairs and bubba chinos on offer.

Tried this cafe for breakfast over the long weekend, they were busy but you wouldnt notice as the staff were very efficient and friendly. Lots of high chairs so baby and kid friendly. Great view of the beach from the outside tables.
Ordered a couple of bacon and egg breakfasts with lots of sides - everything was great and good coffee too.

I wanted to try this Italian cafe after seeing a sign advertising home made pastas & sweets. We stopped in for brunch. The atmosphere was relaxed, staff were very friendly and coffee was superb. The breakfast/brunch menu was quite simple, I had a bacon and egg panini which I enjoyed.
They offer a variety of home made Italian treats like biscotti & cannelloni to eat in or take home.
They also offer home made pastas and sauces which just need to be heated up and served. We bought a spinach & ricotta cannelloni and a meat tortellini to try and they were both delicious.

Went to the A&C on a saturday afternoon with the girls for cocktails. It's the sort of place where you can dress up a bit or go casual depending on how you feel. The tiki bar upstairs has the most amazing variety of cocktails that need to be tried. Downstairs makes a very good Sangria by the jug. They also serve food but if you are going on a weekend night book ahead as they get very busy.

Was looking for a Thai place that offered a good variety of vegetarian dishes including tofu and found this little gem. Fast service, delicious menu items and lots of variety.
We tried stuffed chicken wings, roti and peanut sauce dip, Ginger and shallot with tofu and veggies and chicken with chilli and garlic, they were all full of fresh and tasty ingredients and the last dish mentioned was hot if you like your Thai spicy. Big portions, loads of leftovers for lunch the next day. We will definitely be going back for more.

Chipmunks playLand and cafe is located at Northwest Plaza. It's a really big space and has lots of slides, things to climb on, a ball pit, foam blocks and everything is surrounded by padding and foam. The cafe has lots of tables so you can sit and have a coffee & toasted sandwich while you watch the kids or join in with them. Great for a cold or rainy day.
They offer discounts to AMBA members as well.

Tried this friendly pizza & pasta restaurant while on holidays recently. It's right on the beach road at Alexandra Headland, lots of space and family friendly.
Servings are very generous and they offer a great variety of pizzas, pastas and salads. Gluten free options are available too.
We shared a honey chilli chicken pizza and a salad both were very appetising. I'd definitely visit this restaurant again.

We stayed just down the road from this funky little cafe. It's just in from the beach road across from the skate park. They make great coffees along with fresh squeezed juices, smoothies, teas, chai etc. They also had a few items like muffins in the cabinet.
They also offered a stand up coffee rate like in Italy which I thought was a great idea. There are some cosy tables inside and a few outside if you want to enjoy the sunshine and view of gorgeous Alexandra Headland.

Cosy cafe on Stafford road making great coffee and selling sweets like canoli and biscuits. Owner is very friendly and offers suspended coffee service for local organisations like meals on wheels as well. Definitely worth stopping in.
