I recently went to the bakers cottage for dinner one night with my husband and my daughter. I ordered a works pie and a cheese and bacon sausage roll, and my husband had a steak pie and my daughter had a mini meat pie and a sausage roll. I was quite impressed with the quality of my works pie, as rather than being made with mince meat it looked to be made with decent chunks of meat which was possibly steak, and there was a generous serving of veggies like onion and potato and tomato in there too, so it was quite satisfying. The sausage rolls were tasty and a nice texture too. We went there for a relatively late dinner and were surprised to find that it was open late so that was handy, and even at that time they still had almost all the pie varieties avaliable which was great. They had a good variety of flavours and pie types on the menu. These were certainly some of the best pies I have had lately.

I bought a family pie from Bakers Cottage. We all enjoyed it very much. The pie is filled with steak chunks rather than just cheap mince. The taste was great. The service was standard, nothing special but satisfactory. I found the pie on the more expensive side of things.

efficient service and reliable and friendly staff make the shop a great place. the drive thru is excellent if you need to buy something quickly. great tasting food too.

where can you go wrong at a 24hr pie shop... making your designated driver go through the drive through is a must!!! (that's right they have a drive through!!)
great tasting pies and happy staff even at 4am!!!!
