when it comes to hogs breath i have come to expect pretty good service, as i have received it in every HB I've visited however this particular one leaves alot to be desired, when i went there for dinner it took 20mins before we were even asked for drink orders and they weren't busy, our orders fr those drinks came out wrong and the beer left much to be desired. when we questioned the service provided we were met with indifference. i WILL be eating at hog's breath again but untill the service improves it will NOT be at the newcastle HB

great food, great service however it is a bit pricey. fun place to go for breakfast though.... central location makes it easy to get to however parking in darby st can be limited so take your walking shoes!!! if you have the cash this is a great place to dine!!!

the food here can be really great but sometimes when it's busy it seems like they don't put as much effort into the meals that come out of the kitchen, this isn't to say that they are bad meals as much as they could and should be the great meals you get on a quiet night. good variety of food... something for everyone and the specials are really good value... parking is a pain on a busy night but if you can walk there it's well worth it. On the occasions where i have eaten here when there has been live entertainment playing i have found them to be gifted performers who play good music well not loud!

really good service, always happy to help you find what your looking for no matter how obscure the movie you want may seem, they are friendly and make you feel like your a customer that matters to them... not just another dollar in the cash register!!!

great atmosphere, friendly staff and patrons alike, wide selection of gaming machines, and excellent TAB area for those that like to gamble, great food in the restaurant and you can even call up and order take away if you feel like eating at home

i had my first tattoo done here and the staff were great... they made sure i was really happy with everything before they started and were happy to stop halfway through when i thought i had given them the design upside down!!! great range of designs to choose from .... it'll take you days to go through them all!!!

this place is great, the first time i went i forgot my shoes... and they were happy to let me go home again to get them, no worries. every time i have been there the staff have been lovely and helpful and the facilities are above average too... definitely a great place to get fit!!!

great food and great service... if you can't find the seafood your looking for, these guys are happy to get it in... nice takeaway food too, not alot of seating but it is across the road from a park so there's always somewhere nice to sit

where can you go wrong at a 24hr pie shop... making your designated driver go through the drive through is a must!!! (that's right they have a drive through!!)

good value decent service... and the hubby thinks they make a great breakfast!!!
