I came to Dennis with a Daniel Roth watch which is a rare and unusual watch. I had spent ages trying to get this repaired elsewhere but no one could get the part or fix it . To my delight Dennis got the part and not only fixed the watch but spruced it up to look like new. Great service - thank you
I went to get my engagement ring fitted, only to have it come back with a soldering mark and looking like stainless steel. Which is not ideal when it's white gold. Not only did they give me back a ring which I had to get fixed, but I found them arrogant and rude, especially when I went to complain. Ever since then I have shared that experience with everyone I know, As I don't want anyone to go through the the horrible experience I did. I ended up getting it fixed elsewhere as I didn't trust the business anymore.
i find this very hard to believe as i go to an enormous amount of effort on white gold rings, and pride myself on getting the best finish possible , if you were not happy i would have done it again at no charge, i have never in 40 years of being in balwyn not honoured a warranty , occasionally things go wrong and we have all made mistakes but that is no reason not to talk to me first ,and i have never given a white gold ring back looking like stainless steel , if you would like to discuss further please call me .

i have read your review thoroughly, and i have never told anyone they were vindictive, also i find no record of your repair being here , perhaps you are bagging the wrong business , on you repair packet you will find a number , if you have not got that , on your tax invoice i gave you it will have a date and time , i would love to know which job we are talking about and when this happened.... kind regards

Dennis is great - he designs and manufactures his own high quality work and I have bought many pieces from him. I like his work as it's different and often original - you can be confident about getting a "one-off" piece from him. i came to dennis as recomedation from a friend to get my late fathers watch restored, not only did dennis repair dads watch he restored the old watch case to look like new, he repainted the face which had discoloured after 40 years of dad wearing it. and sourced a new a matching original leather strap. every time i look at it now i remember dad wearing it while i was growing up. in fact when i collected it i had tears in my eyes thinking of dad.
