I recently discovered Banana Joes when I was in marrickville. Banana Joes sells really good quality fruit at reasonable prices. I haven't really checked out the grocery section, but it looks good. Banana Joes also has a self serve orange juice machine, this juice is seriously the best juice that I have ever drunk.

Great and local store and we use to shop here daily whilst living in Marrickville. Located on busy Illawarra Rd they stocked an array of hard to find products, had a meat section, fresh produce with lots of regular catalogue specials and love the fact they have a car service which helps to take your shopping to your car - you need to be parked in car park above or across the street. They also support local schools and charities and offer a home delivery service if you spend over a certain amount. Never had an issue with service or wait times when we shop here, if its busy no more then 10 - 15 minutes to be served. Great shop!

A handy local store... the common brands are slightly more pricey than the larger chains, but Banana Joe's gets in all sorts of interesting products and alternative brands to try, at good prices. I'm not sure why someone mentioned the number of checkouts... I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes during peak hour... pretty good for a mid size supermarket in one of Sydney's largest suburbs!

It's always a pleasure to shop in Banana Joe's as they offer many products that I can't find at other supermarkets especially the gluten free range of products. The staff are always helpful and cheery. They even sell sculptures!!! Overall an awesome experience that is very unique.

Amazing fresh fruit and I pop in at least once a week to purchase some organic products which I don't find elsewhere and their service is great, not to mention that their grocery prices are on par with the big names. All in all a pleasant place to shop and has a few checkouts but it gets very busy at times.

nice, there are not many checkouts, so at peak hours it's annoying, but the prices are okay. The staff, however, are all Indian and it's quite hard top understand them. The prices are ok.
