If you are looking for a homemade style cake, Beatrix is the place to be. I went to Beatrix with extreme apprehension, but I was not disappointed. The cheesecake there was so amazing, it was so creamy and perfect. The doughnuts there are great too. Every cake there is perfection. The service is superb.

Amy is the best hairdresser in the blue mountains, she gave me the most amazing haircut. I find her to be really great at being able to choose a haircut that really suits me and the cut is always perfect. The price is really decent too

Fossix Coffee is a great newish cafe in the heart of Sydney CBD. The cafe is located inside a building, so it is easy to miss it. This cafe has the most amazing range of cakes that I have ever seen in a cafe, ranging from red velvet, cookies and cream and more. the cafe makes the most delicious choc chip cookies ever, One day I shall try their hot choc. Great friendly service too.

This review is for Golden Sands Restaurant, Hurstville NSW

Golden Sands Restaurant is a fairly new Chinese Restaurant in Hurstville, I went there because I wanted to eat Yum cha. The restaurant is extremely busy during peak lunch time, but is well oiled machine and gets patrons moving in and out of the restaurant quite efficiently, so waiting times are not long. The food itself is pretty good, it is the usual yum cha food such as BBQ pork buns, pork ribs etc. The price is not bad either and not too expensive. The service is very polite and friendly.

Excellent hidden Thai Restaurant on Goulburn Street. The menu is diverse and quite affordable. I loved the garlic chinese broccoli pork belly stir fry, deliciously fresh and the broccoli cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the mince chilli chicken stir fry, we were warned that it would be spicy hot and they were not wrong. Service is really hospitable, even to my child who was tad tired and cranky.

This review is for Boon Cafe, Sydney NSW

Boon Cafe is a lovely cafe in the central area of the CBD. Boon Cafe sells a lovely variety of pastries, for example the most amazing matcha almond croissant. The hot chocolate is delicious there, they use Kakawa chocolate for the hot chocolate, which makes it so yummy. They also do lunch and dinner, I am yet to try this. Service is hit and miss though.

Lixie Chocolaterie is one of the most amazing chocolate/cake shops in the city. They sell the most amazing old fashioned cheesecake, it is the best cheesecake i have ever eaten. The moist vanilla cake is delicious too. I have tried a few of the small bars of chocolate and they are so good too, The hot chocolate there is very delicious and made with real chocolate. The service is lovely, staff are so passionate about what they do.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a new burger restaurant in the area. I went with my family and we just ordered burgers and chips. We both ordered the Beefyclassic which was the basic one and it was delicious, the meat was so tasty and the rest as good. The chips were quite beefy in size and certainly delicious. Lovely service And child friendly too.

This review is for Hominy Bakery, Katoomba NSW

Hominy Bakery in my opinion sells the most amazing pies, I tried their chunky beef pie and it was so delicious. The pastry on the pie was so buttery and flaky and there was lots of chunky beef inside. I also bought a croissant which was delicious too. The service is polite, but easily distracted when busy.

Shinara buffet is fantastic and for $13 for lunch, you cannot go wrong. The buffet has heaps of food available including bulgogi, fried chicken, potato noodles, ice cream and more. When you dine with two people you get free hot pot. The food is very fresh too.
