Excellent Thai food. We have yet to find a new Thai restaurant (since moving out of the immediate area) that can compete with Banks. The food is tasty and spicy and the price really good value. We would often get takeaway and the food would always arrive hot and ready to eat!

We love the underground tropical setting location for SUMALEE Thai restaurant. It compliments the pub nicely. They have some lovely traditional dishes plus basic pub food and the drink prices are very reasonable for Newtown!

this is one of the tastiest thai restaurants around. a huge restaurant but almost always busy. the service is excellent and the decor is traditional thai with a hint of modern. white table cloths and great food make this a superb place to eat

A good place for tasty Thai food. Great service in an unusual space. There is a cheap lunch special where you can get a curry and rice for $6.00. Free home delivery. Standard variety of Thai food. Very popular at night, but also open for lunch.
