Lovely friendly staff, with great food and coffee. The best part is the cakes. We used a whole cake from here for my 30th as we loved the slice we had so much. Was raved about and still the best cake I've ever had. Only downside is the price is expensive for outer suburbs, more like city prices.

Approximate cost: $16 lunch risotto

I love this cafe! The staff are always polite and friendly and the meals reasonably priced! I love that this cafe serve fairtrade coffee which supports coffee growers in the third world and they use some of thier profits to support world vision.

This is a local haunt- so nice and easy to get to. One of the best cafe's in Heathmont/Ringwood area.. Due to this fact though they can up the price a bit and get away with it..I find the meals a bit pricy, but when there is little to choose from in this area.. It is nice to know you will always get a good coffee and smiling service..

Approximate cost: $10-15

We have been to Barclay's several times for breakfast, once for lunch and once for afternoon tea. Breakfast has been consistently very good to great and service generally good. They are a bit noisy - some carpet or curtains would help a lot. Price is fair - what I usually expect to pay. Coffee is very good.

Approximate cost: $13

This place does a fabulous breakfast - really yummy. Service can be a bit haphazard but the food is generally very yummy. Coffee is great - fairtrade (which you can also purchase to take home and make yourself

Very nice cafe with a friendly atmoshere and a great location. Convenient for me as i live just around the corner and it's great to be able to stroll down for a coffee.

Having said that the coffee is fairly pricey, and the food even more so, but it is worth the money in my opinion. Grab a coffee card and every 10th drink is free.

I had to wait over 30 minutes for my cappuccino to arrive, and they weren't very busy. I was about to leave, when a waitress came over. She wasn't very pleasant when I tried to cancel my order, yet was quick to return with my beverage. She gave me an insincere apology with her back to me. The beverage was nice and the cakes looked delicious, but the service was poor once too often.

This is a great little coffee shop that you can just drop into and enjoy a coffee and muffin or breakfast or lunch! THey always have delicious things to eat and it's nice having a local place like this to go to then heading into the city for the same thing! GREAT!
